After reports that over 549 civilian protesters have been murdered ( not counting the wounded) by the Egyptian army the president declared that he would cancel our joint war games with Egypt.

I guess the response would be something like. "Oh Well I guess that on the positive side of that we won't have to take time away from the bloody war we are presently waging against the Egyptian civilians."

Not only that but he threatened to cut off some of the two billion that we give Egypt every year if they don't stop killing civilians. I imagine their response would be something like "Oooooooooooooooooh We're ssoooooooo scared."

Yup Really tough. At least he didn't threaten to slow down the arms delivery's to those who are murdering Egyptian civilians. But what the heck.

At least he didn't complain about the Christian churches that are being burned to the ground and the Christians that are being beheaded or being hung on crosses outside the city. At least both regimes share the
hatred of Christians. I guess it's good that both regimes have some things in common. :)

My understanding from all I have been able to find is that the "free" people of Egypt are attempting to rid themselves of the islamofacist.

If that is true . . . then war is good for Egypt . . . and US.

Not much else he could do.

Obama will be President until 2016, your whining will change nothing.

I don't believe Obama is a "Soros Puppet," nor do I believe any involvement with Egypt is necessary for the U.S. In fact, at this point it is better for the United States to dissociate with any and all regimes that are controlled by fundamentalist Islamists. I mean to give them a permanent cold shoulder, no trading, no buying oil from them, NOTHING. If I were President I would recommend ALL Americans to LEAVE any Arab nation that is even suspected of supporting Islamists. Our military involvement there has been for the most part a waste of time. We should put the full weight of support behind Israel, and give them the full capability of protecting their sovereignty, while encouraging them AND moderate Arab states to enter into a permanent peace treaty and put the Islamist on a permanent persona non gratis status.

It is pro-Morsi supporters who are attacking the Christians, accusing them of helping in Morsi's ouster. The Christians feel they will be better off in a secular state than an Islamist one.

And they are right.

I've been trying very hard not to cheer the Egyptian military but with Morsi's rabble killing Christians and burning their churches I can't feel too much sympathy for them.

It is a bizarre world where the Russians have more integrity than us, where Assad is defending Christians in Syria, and where our own govt clown posse has destabilized the middle East probably beyond repair in this generation.

I remember a strange place identified in old Superman comics as the Bizarro World. We're in it.
