I was once naive enough to spend a couple of hours in a bar in Bristol England before I realized it was a gay bar, I was actually a little disappointed that no one hit on me. I mean, have I gotten that ugly? (you don't have to answer that) LOL
I'm not afraid of a gay person. They have nothing to fear from me either. I believe all men & wemon are created in the image of God and that alone make each person's life something of immense value. Even unborn people and animal life also have immense value to me...but I digress.
It takes a man and a woman to naturally create the homo sapien species. We might now be able to create children clinically through DNA and stem cell research, but still there is something unique about the union of male & female in nature that can not really be mocked, no matter how one might try to change the definition of a word used to describe this union legally.
I think what people should note is that this battle is really about changing a legal definition. There is a desire to use the power of the law to force an ancient word to mean something it simply does not mean. Not only is that a bit odd to me, but it seems to be fraught with ominous threat toward what is true or natural.
My position is not "hate" by any definition of that word either! It is simply an acknowledgement of the obvious truth. Therefore, reality dictates that those who don't love the truth, are the only ones who will hate. It's the obvious natural reality which is no longer allowed to be spoken without real "hate" coming back!
The simple fact that what we're talking about is called "gay marriage" is an acknowledgement on EVERYONE'S part that it's something different than the accepted definition of this word throughout the entire history of Earth.
So all we're talking about here is a forced
legal re-definition of an ancient
social word. It is an
imposed morality with the power of State.
Whatever. I'm not against anyone having the same "civil" rights as every other man, but simply as a matter of speaking the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, "gay marriage" simply is not the same unique and natural thing as a marriage between a man and a woman, no matter what legal language may call it.
Lawyers, courts, and cops can apparently now legally force everyone to lie (at least publicly) about something we all know isn't true.
