I'm curiouse. In terms of musicians in general here, whether you are someone looking to fill a spot for your working/gigging band, or someone like me who's simply lokking for a buddy to learn some new skills from and jam to some pop and soft rock tunes, is this place more hit than miss, or the other way around?

No success at all ... for some reason Roxy Music/Duran Duran fans and Van Halen fans usually stay clear of each other and I happen to like both... and I hate all the alternative, post-alt stuff.

I've always been mellow here. I'm just trying a different approach, and see if there is someone like me with similar goals on here who has found a buddy to collab with and learn some new skills from as opposed to those trying to find a replacement member for their already existing gigging/working band.

If you beat your head 1000x against a rock, did you learn anything more than doing it just 1x?
