Very enjoyable clips to listen to.

Of course I am old enough to remember all the originals of these too.

Would be fun to jam on these.

Hey thanks OuttaHand! Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember the originals too, in fact they each have special meaning. Rock on!

Aww you guys! Thanks IA, too bad we're not all in one place, what a jam we could have. Praise you receive from fellow musicians means the most.

If we were all in one place I would play some STP on guitar and let I.A. sing to it, I am telling you he has that same style!

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Jimmy,

Dreamin and Midnite Lamp sound good. I have always liked the intro to Midnite Lamp. How are you doing the little flutter riff on the turn around to the intro? Is that just a wah or what are you using? Its a second guitar track that I hear.

Ive got a couple of new songs to put up but my recorder crashed so Im trying to figure out how to get the songs off to fix. Maybe one of these days!

Thanks again JW. Just wah on Burning, but the double track makes it sound "fluttery". I use double-tracking religiously, a side-effect of growing up in the 60's lol.

Well, I was enjoying your tunes while driving around today. Listened to them all several times, wishing I had more tracks to put on the CD. LOL

You rock bro!

I sent an email.

You should make a website and put dozens and dozens of songs like that, maybe even hundreds, and sell them, singly or in compilations, and you can call the site...

MusAXE.com

A rip of "Musak", which is the usually shitty background music you hear in offices and malls. This would be ambient music, with a similar purpose, but which is worth listening to. In other words, good music, as opposed to sucky ass bland sh*t they normally pipe in.

Musak's original purpose, is to have music playing in the background, ambient, but which has no singers, no lyrics. Instrumental music that we recognize, but not get too distracted by, which could occur from having the original artists playing. It is meant to lift people's moods, but in a subtle background sort of way.

This could be Musak for people that don't want their ambient music to suck, and be bland.

MusAXE.com

The domain is available, I just checked. :-)

Maybe you'd make a fortune?

Or maybe I forgot to take my medicine today? :-)

Craig, I do not know if there is much money in that, lol. But what do I know, I have about this much "___" experience in the music field.

*Shrug*

It would be cool if you did follow Craig's advice though, Jimmy.

What I would give to take the talent on this board and deposit it into the bodies of the musicians today... God do our musicians these days stink, only a select few are good.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Thanks Craig, I'll look for your email. I think your idea is cool but the royalties would probably kill it. I really just record those songs for my own purposes, I can give them away but not sell them. They're really just to showcase my abilities and to get you interested in my orginals. I will post "Up Around The Bend" and "Little Wing" next.
