I don't know what block you've been around, but I give you a clue how it works- No promoter can take a crappy band and make them famous. And no crappy promoter is going to prevent a great band from taking off. Do you really think the Beatles needed George Martain, or would they have made it anyway- or course they would have. So yes- a really great all girl band would "get to play the music and get famous".

But that's not really the point is it Johnny? Don't you think you should know what your talking about before you slander people? Or do you feel really safe hiding behind your computer on the other side of the country. Since we don't know each other from a hole in the wall- don't you think you are being just a bit arrogant yourself. So where does all this big tour manager come in- The ad never said anything like that. Here, let me spell it out for you:

The idea was to put together 4 or 5 girls with some talent, if not experience, get them started practicing, working on their material, finding them a place to jam, booking some gigs when their ready- and then see what happens. I think anyone willing to do that without getting a nickel for his time, is a good deal. If they get good- then I'll record them- and we'll see where that goes. Only if they Made It- would I take a cut- In other words- If they don't succeed I'm just out of time and some money- sh*t happens. I'll consider it an interesting project.

Now it doesn't require past gold records to do that. You don't need a string of big bands for credentials. It's a friggin gift. It a good deal, and if you don't think so, then there's something wrong with you.

Again, you're not telling anyone what YOU are bringing to the project. Do you have club contacts to book dates? Do you have the equipment needed (PA system, etc)? Think 'The Runaways'.
Any female musicians seeing your ad however you word it) are going to be thinking these things.

Wanted... 5 hot females to form a band in my mom's basement....errr...I mean in my gorgeous studio... Interviews will be held in my studio after 9PM. Employment will be determined on what you wear....err.... I mean...how well you perform ... Single females only and preferably not preggers!

That's good guys- but I got a couple presents today. One was an amp that arrived in one piece and the other was to know who this SOB from Cucamonga was who I was talking to.

I mean its just rude to pull the whole band down, when its only one guy doing the talking so I called a friend in L A which happens to be near where he lives. She owed me, and she has more money than God, so what do I get......everything. She didn't know him, but she knew people from where he is from. So now I don't need to call him "Johnny" anymore.

Now some of it is just what I would call gossip so....unlike "Johnny" I won't put it out there. I do know the meaning of the word slander and so I'm a little more careful than "Johnny".

All I wanted to know is which one was i talking to. So now I know where to send papers if he wants to keep slandering. Right Dave? I think it's not right to mouth off and have the whole band take the rap. So it's just one guy "Dave" who Im talking to. Hey Dave, some people don't like you in your own hometown. I'll be back later. if you think I am ful of sh^t just ask me to print it and I will. You nasty little cuss.

Very consistent behavior with your prior posts Michael. You might want to check your legal status on this before going any further. It will be difficult managing that all girl band from behind bars. Now take a deep breath and ramp it down a notch... or not. It's all just polite conversation until someone loses an eye.
