You know...when you get to the bottom of a deep peanut butter jar... Even if you have a long spoon or knife... You are not going to be able to get that last little scoop out with out it getting on your fingers and forcing you to lick it off.

OK even that's not as bad spilling some bleach on a new pair of jeans.

But... Gwen just brought home a new box of 24 KLONDIKE BARS. I love KlONDIKE BARS. I'll indulge in 2 or three a week.

I love to peel back the foil wrap at the edges and delight in overcoming the foil that has frozen tightly. As you slowly peel it back you are allowed to embrace the cold pleasure as it rests gently in your hand.
The anticipation mounts as you get that first glimpse of chocolate coating and the gentle aroma of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla, teases your senses...

Gently you peel the foil wrap back to the point where there is complete exposure of perfect beauty. You gently twist and reposition the perfection so that it is laid out in the center of the foil... All the deliciousness exposed at a corner you can gently nibble and slowly allow you to be brought complete satisfaction. In the end you are left with a few tasteful dribbles at the center of the wrap... One last mindful taste...

Well the bastards at the KLONDIKE corporation STARTED TO WRAP THEM IN PLASTIC. They are treating them like a common popsicle. All of that is gone... GONE!!!

All of that is WRONG,WRONG, WRONG!!!! :)

...they wrap them in plastic to make you sterile ... all a part of the Slow Kill.

I understand there are those who will not believe this ... it is true however.

Glen, I hope you and the Mrs. are doing well! I too love those bars. For you diabetics (I'm one) they make them sugar free and they are still AWESOME. Dawn brings them home for me as she feels sorry for me because I can't eat all the other sweets she brings home or cook. I have totally sworn off sugar the day I found out I had developed type II diabetes. The good news is I went to the Dr. Tuesday for My 6 month check up and My Dr. told me my last 2 A1C tests had come back normal. A1C is the test the Dr. does to assess your long term blood glucoss level. You can't trick the Dr. and besides they are WAAaay smarter than me LOL! The good news is my Doc says he is going to take me off the meds. if these results come back under 600 of which the last 2 have. I will forever be diabetic but for all practical purposes I have beat it with diet!

That's really good news Jeff. I think it was 2 or 3 years ago you really got smacked with that diabetes report. That's good news!!

Sorry if I was teasing, with something so stupid. I was just being sarcastic and pointing out another stupid thing in our lives.
I eat very few things that have direct amounts of sugar. I don't drink soda, eat candy, I drink my coffee black, pasta is not my thing, cereals never...
My greatest sugar intake is from fresh corn in the summer and fruits including bananas.

I'm not sure what your diet is, but you have actually brought up a very important point about the strength of a proper diet that can actually heal you and keep you healthy. Klondike bars... maybe thats why I can get away with a few here and there.

Any way that is really great news Jeff... BET THAT PISSES Jimmy off... You ain't going any where soon. :)
