On this forum it still says United States New. Wasn't that section added years ago? When is anything not "new" any more? For that matter, how big is "king size?" Especially when it comes to candy bars. What is the difference between "king size" and "jumbo?" How much bigger is a "jumbo" frank than a regular sized frank? Which is bigger, gargantuan or massive? I'll bet Hershey's would sell a lot more "gargantuan" candy bars than "king size" especially if it was labelled "new." Bras shouldn't be 36D, 44DD, etc. They should be regular, large, extra-large, queen size (as opposed to king size), jumbo, gargantuan, etc.

Do you think the BM 'owners' bother to change things, like forum section titles? Seems like they are only interested in keeping people from free advertising their band needs (by deleting posts or embedded email addresses). Look at the spam that sometimes invades these forums ...

Someone has too much time to overthink things.

Bandmix in my opinion is just social media, and unlike say FB, they keep things the same. Bandmix is a place for us musicians to share ideas, thoughts, rants, vents with fellow musicians.

I like that it doesnt change formats like some other places tend to do. I enjoy sharing my views on things, especially as it pertains to bands, both original and cover, or just dabbling alone. Occasionally I step into hot button subjects, religion or politics. It gives me a perspective that others have different views than I do, and we are all allowed to air our views. Ive come to respect most people that post here, it seems that although I dont really know people here, in a sense I do know you all, what you are doing, musically and non musically.

Honestly I dont agree with what everyone says, but I think Ive learned to give my fellow human being respect for what they think, even it goes totally 180 degrees counter to my views.

I dont care for some of the mudslinging, the people that just show up every now and then and blast everyone in site. Dylan comes to mind when I say that. But then again he has the right to say any damn thing he pleases, whether I like it or not. Some of those post can get highly entertaining at times.

I pay a membership, because I know that it does take some money going in to keep anything going. So I support the site, whether I really get anything out it or not.

But like my first comment, I just chose not to overthink it too much.
