It's laughable when they try to act like a low-level agent was directing the IRS intimidation. Timothy Geitner was in charge and sitting around Obama's table every day in the Cabinet.

I've always said that the free press (who turned into the Dept of Propoganda) will find out too late that their idolotry of Obama is going to bite them. Sooner or later, Freedom of the Press will be another annoying passage of the Constitution cramping Obama's style.

So did you hear what the fascists in the so-called Justice Department have done now?

They seized confidential records of the Associated Press without even offering a reason. The AP is predictably upset that all of their sources have been compromised

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20130514/DA68UIS00.html

Can you imagine the outcry from the media if the Bush Justice Department had confiscated the records of the Associated Press without any reason or justification given?

They'd better start yapping while they can. We'll see which ones are completely bought already (besides the obvious payoffs to & from NBC)

This statement from the AP

"There can be no possible justification for such an overbroad collection of the telephone communications of The Associated Press and its reporters. These records potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP's newsgathering operations and disclose information about AP's activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know," Pruitt said.

Folks speak of the IRS as though somehow, it has divine right to exist. The fact is, the IRS's existence and function is a contradiction to our constitutional laws surrounding servitude and indebtedness.

When you file for a 501 C3, you typically need to provide your evidence and proof of qualification. That necessarily requires you to outline your operations, your costs and productivity. You also have to provide a charter, and depending on your state, a list of committee/board members/sworn in.

It is NOT the responsibility of the IRS to 'investigate' this for you. Simply put, if, during your initial application, when they review it...if you fail to meet the due diligence, you are DECLINED.

Audits imply discrepancies within a vetted system. The IRS had no cause, whatsoever to scrutinize these agencies... If the agencies fulfilled their application requirements, a simple review /checklist would have been fine. If they did not meet the requirements, a simple rejection of the applicant would have ensued...end of story.

When the Chicago Mafia took over our government what did the propagandists expect? Knee capping is standard operating procedure for thugs isn't it?

I wonder if the IRS would think it's OK if I apologize for not reporting taxes for the rest of my life?

I'm watching the GOP leaders doing a press conference about this mess...and get a sinking feeling that they are a bunch of bozos who will yap all day but don't have the gonads to do anything about it.

It has to start with Eric Holder at the Justice Department or any card they might play will be trumped by the Joker.

They profit in politics by buying political gains. I say tax them to fvcking kimgdom come. And tax religion too. No reason someone gets off tax free just for sharing a group delusion.

Rid the world of those you disagree with! Nice... your hate has blinded you from the double-edged sword that hangs over your own head. If the gov't can pick and choose who they go after, you may be the recipient of the "riddance" with authority you are willing to hand over to the gov't.

saw on BBC news last night, the obama admin apparently is saying the IRS should be ashamed of itself, they will root out evildooers, blah blah blah..

How about doing an investigation FIRST, then talk to the press about who done wrong. That they are so quick to declare guilt without even assuring that the allegations are accurate and complete, tells me that this is nothing more than a dog and pony show, probably engineered by BOTH parties to draw attention away from something else important, or just to engineer sentiment in anticipation of making sure the next prez is republican. You know they simply just take turns now. each gets 8 years, then switcheroo...

Don't believe it? Bookmark this post and come back after the 2016 elections.. I guarantee that unless something utterly shattering happens to our government and society, there will be a Republican elected pres in 2016. Period.

Because they already know who did wrong and they need to fix blame somewhere else quickly.

I feel sorry for the head of the IRS who got fired. he was only doing what his superiors in Obama's Cabinet (Geitner, who was obeying Obama) wanted him to do.

At the very least Eric Holder needs to be shoved out...but I say that knowing he will be replaced by someone even worse. Obama has always, always, always been surrounded by crooks his entire life.

You're thinking counter-intuitively when you voice your disgust with govt and it's corrupt ways, yet want to shovel more tax money into their coffers.

IRS needs to go the way of KGB, Stasi and Gestapo. IRS has always been a weapon in the hands of govt - they reward their friends, harm their 'enemies' and encourage / discourage social / cultural views according to their whim and the whim of their masters: the elected buffoons who are destroying this sentence.

I'm going green boys - long sentences save on punctuation and reduce global warming!

You have heard that the program of IRS persecution of Constitution supporting organizations was started by the woman who now is in charge of the tax division of health care don't you?

By the way, the guy that was told to resign was going to retire in June. He didn't loose a thing. He probably even got an under the table bonus for being the scapegoat. (Or a promotion to another higher office... that is the way this tyrannical regime operates.)

that's typical of the Obama worshipping lapdogs in the media. If they had been the only people targeted, this article might have had some appearance of merit, but they weren't. EVERY group on the political opposite side of Obama was harassed and/or intimidated, including me.

Furthermore, if any investigation into tax frauds doesn't include ACORN, George Soros, and all the other cronies of Obama who have been abusing our tax system to benefit themselves financially and politically, then it should be absolutely clear this is politically motivated intimidation.

No, this has been an attempt at tyrannical dictatorship. The lowest possible motivation is behind it, just like we've been trying to help you see forever.

The guy is a dirty dictator who would be your wicked master if we weren't here to oppose him.

Your welcome!
