Sounds like a song title.."Last night in Chelsford". lol

Roy sounds like he's either entering rehab or coming out of the closet..
I hope he punched you in the arm for being too gabby at the end.

(Sshhh "Mr Tambourine Man", play that song for me and stop all that jingle-jangle you call talking while you can..)

(Waitress gimme a double Jaegermeister, no make it a triple. lol)

Mike I like your playing, but there are some songs that to me just should not be done acoustically, and I can see for miles s one of them. Now don't get your feathers in a ruff about that I just think some songs should stay in the wheel house.Play more, talk less.

Roy's wife left him ...

Hey Joe, Townshend did acoustic solo versions of a ton of his songs, and they sound great! I'm no Pete T, but I try! People actually liked that one a lot.
I usually only talk before songs if they are ones people won't immediately recognize. Believe it or not, they listen when you talk between songs, but not so much when you're playing!

Nice job Mike! That's one of my favorite songs. If memory serves me correctly that album was released exclusively at Walmart. I remember going there at 5am the day it was released to get my copy. IMO some of the Eagles best work is on that album!

Ooh sorry to hear about "Roy".

I was going to marry this one chick and we had the big sit down.

I told her, "there isn't going to be any divorce, if you want to get unmarried your best bet would be suicide or just don't marry me to begin with".

And that was that, she and I broke up and in retrospect, I was happy that she bailed. SHE WAS A GOLD DIGGING HO and there's no gold round here, by jingo.. lol

Thanks Jeff, you may be right about the Eagles album release, I don't remember (it was 6 years ago!) Some of the album is a little too country-ish for me, but some great harmonies throughout.

On Roy - think they had been married about 10 years, her 2nd, and he had adopted her son from first marriage. I guess he had some early warning signs, but when she left, she literally packed up her stuff (and son), took furniture, etc. He was away for a couple of days, and all of a sudden she wasn't answering her phone. By the time he got home ...

The b!tch talked him to adopting her son and now he gets to pay child support

you lose the kid but not the bills. Haven't seen my adopted grandkids in months but have been invited to help pay their bills. (again)

A Georgia writer (Grizzard) nailed it, "Next time I feel like getting married I'll just find some woman I hate and buy her a house and a car..."

31 years . . . and counting. Despite my multiple attempts to screw it up.

One man, one woman, one God . . .
