Hey Glen, Houston just had the biggest NRA convention in its history. You should have heard the talk radio this morning. There was ONE protestor! He was a left wing nut job! Folks are saying Obummer is the BEST salesman of guns in history LMAO!

I heard it was over 95 thousand. I'm not happy that one person in control could have actually brought this to a test of the second amendment.

It is really simple... After hitler and stallin divided western Europe... It went down like this... 1939...

70 thousand russian troops died at the hands of 1 thousand Finnish troops protecting their homeland against stallin. They had guns.

Poland,,, 100 thousand troops walked through,,, MURDERING everyone. They had pitchforks, instead of guns.

Guns are not for personal protection in your own personal space. They are to protect against other people that have guns. Until you can take away all the guns, from government ,police and ALL MILITARY... There will always be guns.

You raise a great point about how nations need standing armies and states/regions need a national guard with an available armory.

Both Armies were controlled by MANIACS that went forward with an attempt To KILL unarmed citizens. One succeeded, one failed.

The whole power scheme laid out under the Constitution of our country was to avoid anyone group of people... OR PERSON...

Furthermore... We have reached a point where GOVERNMENT AGENCIES can rule by DECREE against the will of the people. Executive order against the will of the people is becoming normal. Without a vote is the same as no democracy. The E.P.A. is one such agency. The I.R.S. is another. This list is HUGE... The list of abuse against citizens is HUGE.

SLOWLY I believe some are waking to the dangers of allowing a government that RULES BY DECREE.

I'm all for getting rid of guns



If all the governments and the criminals (same thing?) of this world will destroy their weapons, then I would support the rest of us beating our guns and swords into plowshares.

But it would be folly to do so before then....
