Tomorrow morning I've got a quick band practice with friends for the Beatles-theme benefit in June. We're doing 3 songs, plus leading the sing-along (All you Need Is Love), so we pretty much had it nailed last weekend after 2 hours. I'm playing bass this year.

Tomorrow night - going to see an a capella show, 2+ groups (the + last time was a couple of local high school a capella groups).

Sunday, the big Harvard Square (Cambridge) May Fair - 3 stages of bands all afternoon (plus a 4th of dancers), 100,000 people. Get to hear some new music, lots of inexpensive food, 3 beer gardens, vendors selling everything, some interesting stores to visit (used record stores, book stores, much more.

Mission Imposter is off this weekend. I am finally taking that steer to slaughter. We will have a couple of months off for the summer then in August we get the new calf for next year. I plan on mowing the lawn when I get back from dropping the steer off then I'll get some practice time for an hour or two then it is beer "drankin" time!

Taking a train to Chicago. Taking my mom...For Mothers day gift. Its her home town and she has pined to vist that town again. Should be lots of fun!

Grant, sorry but they are raised to be killed and butchered! Trust me he lived a wonderful but short life. Besides it cost $500.00 a month to raise a show steer! I know this sounds cruel but I want that thing DEAD and packaged ASAP!

The business that bought him gets that pleasure! we get $1500.00 to put another $1000 of our dollars along with to buy Brets calf for next years Galveston county fair. Thank God that boy is a senior next year because this agriculture crap is costing us about $6500.00 a year! Do you have any idea how much gear that would buy!
