I've been kinda watching thsi band... They are at infancy stage. There are a couple of things I've observed:
1) The young kid with the hat (Taylor) has a sizable female following in town... I've never seen anybody else in town with that kind of following...
2) He definitely has that stage and photo charisma. Something you gotta be born with I think) So essentially , he's a quintessential frontman and makes the face of the band. Hes generating momentum.
3) You know how in school, there was always that one kid who just commanded attention because he was 'that cool"? This kid has it. He doesn't have to speak or act in any particular way...he's a 'roller', calm , cool, collected.
4) The Music... They need work on it, but the got the framework...and the right ideas.
5) They also are in good with the local press. Around here, its 'who' you know. The press is not interested old dull farts...They want to cover new fresh blood. These kids are in the perfect range for that radar. (I've seen other young-uns, who were a tad older than these guys...and they just aren't cutting it...The press really is minimal.
6) Unlike most other bands in town, these guys are doing this
full time. (Which explains the respect they get from the press, since most press typically wont touch hobbyists.
