i've always dug that song and it did get some airplay on the cool FM stations back in the day. but it was kinda rare, so when it did come on it was always a nice thrill. that vilion wear you can hear the bow digging in.....ahhh, classic stuff.

i do agree about some "shoehorning" (great term) going on there.

That to me is his genius! You don't have to be a great singer, great guitar player or any of that. You just have to be able to touch people's souls thru song!
I believe we have someone who gets it.I totally agree with that.How's that steer J.

We got a commitment on him. Which means someone wants to buy him. We are supposed to take him to the slaughter house on 5/20 that's the closest date they can take him. Our son has to write a thank you letter to the customer and when we drop him off to be slaughtered and processed we get the check. Then we get a break for the summer. In august its back to the same routine and starting over with another steer calf. This will be the last year because our youngest will be a senior and graduates. The wife and I are already looking at some property in the country. We are looking to buy a house on a some acreage. After that I might start raising a head or two. I figure I won't be able to play music forever and I'll need something to keep me busy when I retire. I am the kind of person that has to constantly stay busy or I'll go insane. Or at the very least start DRANKIN too much again LOL!

Hmmm, Joe you don't listen to a lot of music Do YA.
As far Neil Pert, Piert, You know the drummer for Rush goes.
Without him that Band wouldn't even be a Good Garage Band.
But his Lyrics aren't that great to Me.
The Best Lyric Ever Has to be;
"That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it uh huh uh huh".
LMAO
There is No Right or Wrong
There is only Opinion.
