WOW... All I see is this country being divided and ripped apart.

I have softened my rhetoric in an effort to teach. Stupid me...

You throw a lot of blame at obama's feet, and I won't excuse him for anything, but in doing so, you've also aquitted bush of the same, when the reality of it is that he equally abused those policies.

When? Every person arrested under Bush as a terrorist actually was. His administration/justice department/homeland security didn't label ordinary American citizens who disagreed with them, or opposed them politically as "terrorists".

I hate Bush for starting the TSA and Homeland Security, but at the time there was a need to coordinate several agencies together under one umbrella...although I have never agreed about the need for TSA. I think we should pass out baseball bats to every passenger on a plane.

But even the terrorists have more respect for W than O. He was a man of conviction and principle, and the radical muslims hid like roaches when the lights come on. He didn't mask his true intentions, nor try to go around anyone's duly elected representatives in Congress.

Congress had nothing to do with the illegal wiretapping, and both sides were complicit in covering up and ultimately granting immunity to war criminals and corporate criminals alike.

Congress absolutely did approve those measures, and indeed has extended them permanently when Bush introduced this as a temporary law that had to be renewed every 2 years. I'm no so naive to think that the whole thing "could have" been planned out in advance by consent of both parties, but that would be a conspiracy theory with no evidence to support it. No, it appears that I was right about Democrats abusing a law made necessary by extreme circumstances that was never intended for intimidating one's political opposition.

I'd also be adamant about reading the same charges to bush, and both their entire administrations too.

What would those charges be specifically? I'm not about defending any politician, but do want the truth to prevail.

No matter what you or I might disagree with Bush on, he didn't try to go around the elected Representatives of the American people. He let every Democrat be on record about every position he ever had.

...and he was always direct and honest about what he was trying to do.

He would tell you what he wanted to do, then allow it to be voted on by the Senate and Congress, then he'd do exactly what he said he was going to do.

I can respect that even if I don't like what he did.

We are told not to judge muslims based on the actions of a few (million)

I suggest we give millions of responsible American gun owners that same courtesy.
