We're booked for an all original night of music at Cronin's in Lenexa, just west of I35 on 87 Street, just west of Zarda BBQ, same side of street (southside). We'll be featuring not one but TWO Indie recording artists, guitarist Lowell Premer and Dave Panico, The Soaring Saxman. Cover is just $5, CD's available at the show, $15 ea or 2 for $25. This all happens Saturday May 11, right before Mother's Day. We go on approximately 8pm. I'll be doing quite a few of my own tunes as well. Check out the tunes on my profile page here for a sampling of my voice and bass playing. Add two of the premier instrumentalists in K.C. and you'll get 3 sets of stellar tunes. Bring your mom, girlfriend, boyfriend, Uncle Freddie or Cousin Billy. Support original artists in K.C.....

I honestly wish I could make it to K.C.
It would do me good.

Musically speaking, I've been in a funk all week. If someone were to walk up and offer me a decent price for all my gear ( and I mean all of it ) I'd sell out and walk away.

Best wishes Bob, I know it's been a struggle for you as well.
God grant you open doors.

. Partly correct. I've always put in at least a few originals per set, per gig. But try getting paid doing all originals in K.C. Not happening. That's why I do covers, so I can buy groceries....

Nothing wrong with making money the old fashioned way..I don't throw rocks living in my own glass dome.

I just thought you were doing originals for the most part.

George - be careful. The last time I felt like you are feeling was the 'catastrophe' of '96 where I got depressed, drunk and burned my song book.

In a lifetime of doing dumb things that is up in the top ten dumbest...
