Yes, I was very surprised with how much cooperation the GOP gave to the coup of 2008 that overthrew America.

Americans won't find out about it until 2016. By then it will be too late for anyone to do anything about it without a lot of blood.

Pretty scary when Sen Mccain almost started apologizing for running against Obama in 2008. Just as bad is what Romney did. Stupid people will never be able to see any farther than their own personal agendas. Even now the grumbling, groveling GOP are caving into allowing law breakers legal status.

Didn't we just see that up in BOSTON? Those were legal immigrants. Imagine when you open the doors for out right law breakers. Remember we had the patriot act... The rules and configurations of that are meant to protect Americans ... No matter what the cost of freedom.

The door is wide open for the downfall of America. Stupidity.

You may choose to be ignorant and not know it, but that's okay, understanding will reach you some day. I honestly don't mean that as a slight.. I was being intentionally sarcastic and funny in my previous post, but this one is pretty sincere.

I seriously hope you agree that we should address why mental patients are getting guns though.. and how to stop them, and criminals, from buying them from legal sellers... bad enough they can get them illegally

Kramer as smart as you are I don't see how you can say your not taking sides. Every position you take in these debates is so far to the left it seems your gonna fall off the edge of the world. You are in denial bro. Some of the examples you use sound like something Nancy Pelosi would come up with! I know your a good guy you have been so indoctrinated by the views of the liberal groups around you. Yet you turn around and blame other folks for how bad you have it. When YOU libs are the ones making the rules.

"They were out maneuvered.
One of the drafters actually put in several things that could be considered "pro gun", so they had no choice but to fight it or vote against it.
"It", being what the legislation that they said that they wanted.

They were painted into a corner.
They got "democrated".

Yes I recall this now... And I believe you are correct... But the definition of being democrated....I think a better phrase might have been: 'Butt-fucked"

What the heck are you saying out maneuvered? This is about stopping asssholes like stallin, hitler, pol pot, che guerrere from disarming citizens from the fundamental right to PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM AN OVERBEARING GOVERNMENT THAT HAS FORGOTTEN WHERE THE TRUE AUTHORITY IS DERIVED FROM. Am I done screaming.

GT I know you have been through a hell of time with your kid.

I will be the first person to help you... if needed. NOT YOUR GOVERNMENT.

Guns are not for personal home protection, GUNS ARE PROTECTION AGAINST A CAPRICIOUS AND ARBITRARY GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!

Dumbscraps are for socialism, pissin this country away and immorality in general! Republicans are for growing the tax base thru low taxes and smaller government. Why is that so hard for people to understand?

Jeff, come on now.

I'm appealing to your good sense.

It's not an "us vs them" thing, it's the system in it's entirety.

Why do people want to live vicariously via their chosen political system?

To me it's like having cheerleaders for a chess match...completely unnecessary.

To me, they both suck, Jeff. Both sides have some interesting ideas but in reality one is just as corrupt and maniacal as the other.

And they like us fighting with each other, because that way we spend most of our precious time and energy attempting to destroy that which we think is bad instead of turning our eyes on the real culprits, our shady ass govt.
