Liberals had a lot more common sense back then Kramer. They weren't letting people blindly SNEAK into the country and bankrupting the country. Folks had morals back then and they believed in God! They also weren't trying to turn the country into a communist block! Yeah JFK was a good man! His families wealth was based on bootlegged liquor, He cheated on his wife, and had Mafia ties! I guess no one is perfect maybe I expect too much from people!

EVERYONE had a lot more common sense back then, no argument. They let people walk right in actually, register on ellis island, and have a nice day. Sure, that was trailing off, but my point is that 'aliens' more or less accounted for the majority of labor and society in this country than not. I don't agree with the illegals, but have no issues with migrants so long as they enter legally and are deported when they break laws or enter illegally, after being severely punished, of course.

You do judge too much. If exposed for all, I'd imagine very few people in this country would stand up to our own common moral standards. I don't care what anyone does in their personal life, so long as it doesn't hurt people.. I am anti-prohibitionist, so I don't care about moonshining and making money, especially that long ago. Everyone cheats on someone, and frankly, I don't believe humans are naturally monogamous, and therefore they cheat once they figure that out for themselves. His wife could have left him, or could have put out more, who knows? Most of what we know is based on 3x as much as we don't. I never cared what bill clinton did with that pig lewinski.. even in the oval office. I wished Bush did that too so he could get his mind off oil for 5 minutes... seriously!

Look at the way our constitution was written- it challenged us to live a public life of moral compass and honesty, yet also allowed us to have a giant closet for skeletons and protected that closet from most forms of invasion.. And let's be honest.. the main reason we don't want our homes searched, our cars, our persons.. is because most of us have something to hide. Most often, that something is negligible and harmless, but either illegal because of someone else's projected morals (POT), or because of religion.

And yeah, about that remark about god being part of the better moral society.. I've never seen PROOF that god in anyones life actually made them more moral. It's my personal experience and statistical fact that athiests and agnostics are a bit more moral and charitable than their god-fearing counterparts.

So when a republican goes bad, they are a "Liberal Republican"?!?

I was accepted at Baylor in the 1980's. Unfortunately, all the federal student loan money back then, went to welfare recipients Like Jimmy Danger...
