I've seen it. Great video, I love watching Trent Reznor chasing David Bowie through New York...

too true celtic...there are few living or dead who have had the impact bowie has had to modern music...i have a strange love/hate type of thing with bowie...he has written and recorded some of my all time favorite tunes(lets dance, ashes to ashes, fame, fashion, etc) but he has recorded some fine tripe in his time too...mostly because he was tied to really bad recording contracts and had to fullfill some terrible management f uck ups
but there are few who comand a crowed quite like bowie....

class....

I'm afraid of the Irish! No, not really. It's part of my ancestry as well. But my ex-wife left me for an Irishman. And get this....his name is *drum roll please* Patrick. She even had the gall to introduce me to him. UGH!!! Sorry...as you were. :)

ouch...sorry to hear that scarlet......and his name was patrick...tough call amigo...but look at it this way...if you really want to piss her off go to ireland and get yourself a stunning irish colleen and bring her over and introduce her to the x-wife......but i must admit having an irish/dublin accent in america is one of the best things ever...it turns women to putty and lets just say if i wasnt married i would be a very busy "irish man" indeed....

hang in there scarlet.

I spoke to my old drummer from "The Needles" not long ago. It turns out , that after the band broke up, he made good money writing "war-game" programs for the U.S.Navy , took up bicycle riding, Switched from drums to "Chapman Stick, and went to "Dear Ol' Erin", Where he found one of those sweat young Irish colleens for a wife! (brought her back to live in New England some where).

Love the song... the production is really nice - from the blown out drums to the looped chant, right down to the 45 hiss.

AFA the message.... hmm, British but fears America? Think you'd wanna be afraid of so many so much closer to home... but then the song is supposed to be shocking in nature... it's the point. Perhaps its because I live in America that I fear Russian nucs, Korean aggression and/or nucs.

"God is an american... " - only to the majority of nut-jobs out there... the ones who believe being a good Christian means simply following the rules (the ones they pick)... going to church, tyth(spelling) your ten percent, spread your religion. Those people scare me too.

Much less serious but similar in content: "America, #### yeah, we're coming around to save the mf day now." -we are a bit cavalier.

oh, I'm outta gas.
