We're looking for some Christian musicians who want to serve a local church with their God-given gifts. What do you like? We play it all. If you live in the Metro Atlanta area and have been looking for a great place to worship and play A LOT then give me a shout!

Check out our website to learn more about us www.cumberlandchurch.org

Hey Jesus Rocks 2,

Yup, we are out here buddy. I'm just in the Houston area. If you were down here we would certainly hook up. I play Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Caedmon's Call, Casting Crowns, you name it.

I'm into acoustical and it all sounds good on a Taylor. I also have a Michael Kelly Acoustic guitar. Michael Kelly makes mandolins but he is getting into guitars now also. You might want to check them out. Very impressive. Much cheaper than my Taylor and sounds every bit as good.

Keep playing for Jesus my friend and you will never burnout.

Hey capo2frets,

My personal relationship with Jesus is new so I've just started listening to contemporary christian artists but I'm a pretty fast learner. I'm interesting in all the artists you named. I'm looking for like minded people to get a duo or trio together to gig local churches and coffee houses and possibly write originals. I've been playing for 20 years and I now want to put my talent to God use! Interested, Give me a shout.

Hey Jesus Rocks 2,

The older I get, the more I feel like Noah trying to build the ark. Finding the right folks to play with is like looking at a desert and believing that not only is it possible to build a gigantic wooden "cruise ship" with your bare hands, but that one day the entire area will be covered by enough water to float the darn thing! It's a good thing he wasn't too worried about the kind of brief earthly life expectancy you and I have.

Sorry to get so philosophical on you.

Anyway, May God lead you into green pastures'

Your brother in Christ, John

It takes work to put together the RIGHT musicians with talent. I will pray for you and ask the Lord to offer you guidance. I put together an independent Christian rock band. The going was difficult early. BUT God was there calm and steady even when I told myself to give up. keep up the good work and He will lead you.

Hey guys I am in Hickory North Carolina and just like the rest of you I am looking for some guys to play in a metal praise and worship band. The problem seems to be we are all to far away to help each other and that stinks. The best of luck to all of you and God Bless.

I'm in the area but the problem is I'm very involved in the church I go to.
I have an audition for one of our youth rooms wensday night. our church has such an excess of talented musicians here i may or may not make it.
i auditioned for another church a few weeks ago and they loved me. but then i realized there'd be a conflict of interest with me at my church. because if the chance came to play more often i'd want to take it. good luck finding people, if not pm me and i'll tell you where my church is and you can come get some of our talent. if anyone wants to play on a friday night at a jail let me know.
good luck and God bless.

As with everyone else, it seems we are always too easily separated from each other by distance haha. I live in Michigan and have been looking to do something musically for God but I am just not sure yet and no particular doors have opened yet either. I feel the pain of my other Christian brothers and sisters out there and wish you well in your search for people to help bring the message! If there are people in the Kalamazoo area that want to link up, I'd be interested in chatting. Gimme a holler at my email, KBeatz4real@yahoo.com
