Wow. You guys (a good many of you anyway) are always just one small step away from creepy, aintcha?
My thanks to all who HAVE been able to keep their "creep" at bay.
Peg, there is an interesting phenomenon at work here. Most newbies get treated like crap here. They are humiliated, insulted, disrespected, and accused of not really being musicians. It seems to be some kind of subconscious initiation ritual. You have gotten a lot of slack because of the dress.
I can't figure out why they don't believe a hot chick can actually play a bass, but it probably challenges their manhood. Surely you deal with this on a nightly basis when you're playing in the real world, so hopefully you can handle it in cyber-world too?
Just smile and understand that it's a compliment from boys who aren't used to playing with hot girls.
btw, your music is very good, some of the best I've heard on a profile here so far. Congratulations.

Slack! Nah... Don't let ol Jimmy boy, acting like a tool around Peg, be misconstrued as slack... (and Nobody else is that pathetic and desperate for an online girl persona's attention. ) (No offense to Peg)
But you are correct in that peg's presence on BM, runs the risk of being somewhat accused... of holding some leverage over the motley crew here...
Me, I don't buy into it...
I would actually prefer to know and see the
real Peg, whether she's an asian hottie, or a frumpy transvestite or an old, fat Boston cleaning lady ... My point is, Peg, you should come
as you are, and not as the persona that all the drooling jimmy's want you to be.
The music I've heard , I presume that to be yours? Or You doing a cover?
