profile?
well, I have always been adverse to filling in forms.
be that as it may,
as a father and husband, I have a long and varied history.
having largely completed those commitments, I play my guitar in the few hrs left to me.
it is enough for me.
so you see, there is nothing to put up on that page, unless of course you want to see pictures of my family.

that's easy enough.

wanted to have some fun with the 2nd childhood types,
wonder how many pm's he got.

Peg has a new (?) original on her profile, acoustic guitar with some bowed bass in it (from a quick listen).

why tell me?
it wasn't me who was 1st making the case that it was a fake.
I just joined the speculation.
if it's your gig, you pick up on it.
you won't get anywhere selling it to me,
I don't have an interest one way or the other.

THat was where my Sitar was , enroute delivery to me. ;)

Its also as close as I have ever gotten to Jimmy...ha ha!

Seems to me this whole thread went in a direction that went to any where but the original intent.

By the way... How is alligator wrestling in your neck of the woods? I just klunked a big skeeter with a napkin fashioned to look like a sitar. :?

Glenny, (...Lighting some insense) My First lesson of Sitar, is to observe the relevance between all things in the universe. The key is 'gradient' and this thread has always been on topic, but the gradients between are infinite...It only 'appears' as though we are off topic , while we traverse the sea of gradient. (tone resonance now kicks in)

Insense? Sounds more like nonsense.

Or maybe you meant incest?

Since she seems to be actively playing out with bands, then it would only be natural to expect she might post a few other photos, or even a video. After all she is attractive, and the pose in her avatar photo suggests that she is not shy around cameras. Until I see some convincing evidence to the contrary ... sorry Peg!

That said, they both seem like very nice people and fine musicians. Though Peg does appear to have nicer looking legs

Wow. You guys (a good many of you anyway) are always just one small step away from creepy, aintcha?

Vinny, are you really suggesting how anyone should be updating their photos and videos???? Seriously, who gives a leap about what YOU would like to see/hear? The last time I checked you didn't even HAVE a profile page! Have you EVER had any music, videos, or photos up on YOUR page? Have you ever had a PAGE? One people could access?

The more I think about that, it must mean that YOU and Planet Guy are one and the same!

I take back the "one step away from full on creepy" comment. No. Maybe, more like a half step.

My thanks to all who HAVE been able to keep their "creep" at bay.

The internet is really just a mirror that reflects society. There's a lot of creeps here, just as there are in real life. And just like in real life, the best thing to do is ignore them.

Peg, there is an interesting phenomenon at work here. Most newbies get treated like crap here. They are humiliated, insulted, disrespected, and accused of not really being musicians. It seems to be some kind of subconscious initiation ritual. You have gotten a lot of slack because of the dress.

I can't figure out why they don't believe a hot chick can actually play a bass, but it probably challenges their manhood. Surely you deal with this on a nightly basis when you're playing in the real world, so hopefully you can handle it in cyber-world too?

Just smile and understand that it's a compliment from boys who aren't used to playing with hot girls.

btw, your music is very good, some of the best I've heard on a profile here so far. Congratulations.

:)

That post is just like so many written by Planetguy! The same use of punctuation and capitalization, same pet colloquialisms ...

If I was really Planetguy, he would have posted tracks from some of his old projects on my site too!

As a fully accredited troll, it should only be expected that I'd be inherently creepy.

I know some female bassists, drummers, saxophonists and guitarists who are top level musicians beyond any consideration of gender ... for the info of those that may be apt to jump to otherwise uninformed conclusions  including some that play at a level way above Planetguy's, mine or your capability.

Good grief guys! Cut JD some slack. That's a JOKE! And pretty funny too.

Grant, I'm looking forward to hearing what you come up on that beast when you get comfy with it.

Peg, since your a newby here I understand you have to get to know folks on this site. You really should before commenting JMO. Jimmy joking probably. Being the "superior man" that he is you should know his joke's are more often than not a double edged sword with 2 meanings joke/insult. He has done it some many times not many on this site take him seriously LOL! Kind of like Dr. Sheldon Cooper (aka advanced human) or at least in his little plastic world LOL!
