I don't doubt Peg's reality, and surely JCP would not have 'created' her profile and included music, when he doesn't have a profile of his own. Now Vinny, on the other hand, could be any of the suspects.

as a father and husband, I have a long and varied history.
having largely completed those commitments, I play my guitar in the few hrs left to me.

Mmmmmm .... I've always suspected that Peg is really a
cyber-manifestation of Planetguy's anima. Her tunes could actually be stuff from one of his old bands. And her postings share many mannerisms with Planetguy's. Since she seems to be actively playing out with bands, then it would only be natural to expect she might post a few other photos, or even a video. After all she is attractive, and the pose in her avatar photo suggests that she is not shy around cameras. Until I see some convincing evidence to the contrary ... sorry Peg!

That said, they both seem like very nice people and fine musicians. Though Peg does appear to have nicer looking legs

The last time I checked you didn't even HAVE a profile page! Have you EVER had any music, videos, or photos up on YOUR page? Have you ever had a PAGE? One people could access?

The internet is really just a mirror that reflects society. There's a lot of creeps here, just as there are in real life. And just like in real life, the best thing to do is ignore them.

Peg, there is an interesting phenomenon at work here. Most newbies get treated like crap here. They are humiliated, insulted, disrespected, and accused of not really being musicians. It seems to be some kind of subconscious initiation ritual. You have gotten a lot of slack because of the dress.

I can't figure out why they don't believe a hot chick can actually play a bass, but it probably challenges their manhood. Surely you deal with this on a nightly basis when you're playing in the real world, so hopefully you can handle it in cyber-world too?

Just smile and understand that it's a compliment from boys who aren't used to playing with hot girls.

btw, your music is very good, some of the best I've heard on a profile here so far. Congratulations.

I know some female bassists, drummers, saxophonists and guitarists who are top level musicians beyond any consideration of gender ... for the info of those that may be apt to jump to otherwise uninformed conclusions including some that play at a level way above Planetguy's, mine or your capability.

It played great! I did a little solo on it, and at the end smashed it into a thousand pieces! My bad!

Being the "superior man" that he is you should know his joke's are more often than not a double edged sword with 2 meanings joke/insult.
