I'm about to get another cell. Don't know how to text, and prefer to be reached at home. The only reason for getting a cell phone for me is the use of emergencies, and because my home phone is crapping out...plus pay phones are about obsolete.

Krul, before you go and get yourself locked into an expensive cell phone contract... Been there, done that.

I have a pay as you go phone. None of the taxes. 400 minutes that get rolled over, for $15 bucks a month. I can even call long distance, no extra charge. The phone was free, I don't need texting or INET access. Just saying...

Here is the real kicker... I have access to all the major cell towers. I don't have any "DEAD SPOTS" because the major carrier doesn't have a tower.

I finally had to get a 'smart' phone because of work. But I'm unwilling to let it own me.

Even worse, the guitar I wanted to buy is still out there because I had to buy an expensive laptop to learn some new tech.

I should add that the 'God Particle" was discovered almost on a yearly basis since around 2007 - 'almost' being the key word. If they ever nail it down I bet they identify yet another little bitty thing floating around out there and back to the races chappies...
