Did you read this?

Wow, they are so lucky that's not my kid.
I'd have that whole family lying prone in a pool of their own blood.
I realize that violence is not an answer for violence, but this is pathetic.

And the school is a joke, trying to divert the issue and claim that he died of other causes. They should close that school down forever and fire everyone involved.

You better shiver a little and realize that meaner people exist in the outside and after your shitty little tyrant of a child kills someone, it's all over but the screaming.

Put those 2 little assholes in a state run facility and have them evaluated.
If their "broken", lock them up and never let them out again.

The worst thing they could do now is let them go.

If that was a child from an affluent family, those 2 little cretins would already be in straight jackets and medicated so hard they wouldn't be able to control their bladders or bowels.

My guess is that it will all be swept under the table..the media is already leaning in that direction.

You know I want to believe in the good of people but this seems like an "eye for an eye" scenario here and no amount of apologizing will ever be good enough for the family of the dead child.

I dont even know where to begin, Scotty. This bully thing is very upsetting.
I've been working on a song theme for the last couple of months...(Tentative CD title "Bullies & Monsters". )

Its about this bullyism that seems to prevail everywhere in our lives... The schools are just a sliver, out of the whole pie.
Were all guilty to some degree.. I'm a bully, everytime I post a disparaging comment to or against someoen else. The IRS...They are bullies...and will take your lunch-money... The fashion makers, intimidate anybody over 27, and markerters are assualtting us with aggressive presence, thus destroying our peace and sense of values in favor of their values. (Homemade remedies addressed the marketers , somewhat)

Bullies are Everywhere
...
Everywhere you look,
you see a bully...In the parking lot,
at the store,
in the move theater by the fire exit door

....

Haven't even touched on the monsters yet...and those are most relevant to children and animals.

It sickens me to see what people do to each other...I understand your angst about it. It makes me just as angry. This child's death was so unnecessary...

You can't die from bullying unless you commit suicide. This was an assault that is now a murder.

once again the moral decay in Amerika is creating little monsters, when I was a young youth the belt and the switch broke me from becoming a monster.. spare the rod and create little monsters..

No one ever died from "bullying" . . .
It usually requires some sort of bodily injury.
That would be assault, or a suicide of some nature.

Men are evil, deal with it or don't.

Society has chosen not to, so there you have it.

Take them out and beat them in like manner. That would discourage a good many bullies from doing the same thing down the line.

Mike

Six percent are psychopaths? Perhaps. But wait, there's more. I heard recently that seven percent are sociopaths.

Maybe we should set up a dating site for folks like that. Maybe they'd leave us alone instead of going into govt or organized crime. ( A tautalogy if ever there was one!)

Or perhaps beat each other out of existence.

I know I got beat within an inch of my life and it made me "toe the line".

I am just completely shocked that this could happen.

I am just glad that it's not my child that is dead and/or one of the bullies is not my child.

I used to hear, "we brought you into this world and if you don't get with the program, we'll take you out so fast your little head will spin".

I am fearful that if I had been the owner of one of the two bastards, something awful would have occurred after the fact.

I believe we are all responsible for our children and if they do something of this nature, the natural order needs to be regained.

I am afraid I would be tempted to euthanize one or both of those little scumbags regardless of the consequences..

In a more fair world, they would take away one or both children and give them to the family that lost Bailey to do with as they please and at that point, I could care less what ultimately became of them.

Maybe the family would even take pity on them and raise them as the lost family member.

Bullies don't just 'happen', they are created and raised. The parents need to be made responsible for their little brats.

I disagree Mike.
As a father of 4, and grandfather, I know unequivocally that no two individuals even direct blood relations are alike.

You can lead a horse to water as it were.
My father was a great role model. To say he was responsible for my drug abuse alcoholism and fornication would be a gross injustice.

Perhaps there was too little discipline? Too much?

I have come to believe universally that only the actor is responsible for action.
I don't even have the word "fault" in my vocabulary unless I'm discussing geophysics . . . respectability . . . personal responsibility . . . and being held socially accountable for same . . . that is the only sane approach.

George - I understand what you're saying about personal responsibility, but we ar talking about 12 year old bullies here, not teenage or adult miscreants.
I certainly would not blame my parents for any of the addictions that I let get the best of me in my adult years, (and still fight now), but thereapy has allowed me to look back on my 'growing years' and udnerstand some of the roots of the problems.
