Cliffie - you just don't get it - there are NO OTHERS HERE besides those you see posting regularly. The hundreds of profiles on BM are profiles, not people posting here in these forums.
You're getting annoyed because people are getting annoyed with your constant repeating of the same things.

I said it before, I'll say it again: seek professional help - a clinical social worker, a behavioral therapist.

Guitar Mike is right Cliff. Look, seeing as you're probably going to come back to this- let me just say: Be the change you want to see in the world, and perhaps you'll see some more positive reciprocation. Just a thought.

It's driving me nuts.

I just came here to talk to some guys around my age who just happen to play good quality pop and soft rock music. The "fans" of the artists I enjoy just drive me nuts because a lot of those fans are female and mostly in their teens, while the guys I keep coming across HATE pop and soft rock and think that being a hard core rocker is superior, not to mention coming across those who are already pursuing a full time career playing music.

Help me figure out better ways to spot trolls on here, and to get more of the infomration I would like to get out of my requests, and to "complain" better without coming off as whiny.

I am a smart, talented, individual who is looking for something that's much rarer to come by, and therefore, the individual needs to actually work with me to help me find what I'm looking for.

Trolls are very easy to spot ... just look for a profile pic of happy Hu Jintao sporting a mustache like Fisherman Bob's or Joe Stalin's.

To find the person you really seek, you do not need to prowl the dance clubs or join a church, instead, go get a large 8' x 4' mirror and sit in front of it. Should fit you like Cinderella's glass slipper.

Someone suggested you should join a church band. They play genre these days. just not secular crap...... Well, I take that back, a lot of it does border on secular crap. Other than the lyrics, often tacked on to plagiarized secular melodies, there is little difference.

Quit being such an elitist. Do what the rest of us who wish to play do... take advantage of existing opportunities, quit trying to get people to join your non existent group. Maybe you can find musicians in church who would play outside of church. A good many of them do, or are you unaware of that fact?
