Mike, you are a SOB but that was funny.. lol

A majority of the time, those are also the people I run into a lot. This includes Baton Rouge Rocks, Craigslist, and Facebook, and it gets extremely annoying.

Also trolls tend to make themselves much more obvious on sites like YouTube, and other artists fan sites like Adamofficial.com, and thus I don't respond to such people.

And it's also funny how some of the people I would like to talk to on given site initially show promise in helping me out in some way, but flip out over a simple thing, and give up on me way too easily, which LEADS to the kind of behavior that Mike Nobody is currently showing.

So far, Scott, you are one of the few who is at least making an effort to understand what I'm looking for. I appreciate that.

Another thing that aggravates me is that the people contacted me and initially showed an interest in playing music with me, but who I never got a chance to show him what I can play as well as the few I turned down, couldv'e very well been the dudes who couldv'e lead me to the music buddies I've been looking for.

You know, I'd be the same even if I was on these meds, so your "solution" is ineffective.

What are those locations? I'm not sure what you are posting? Are music stores, college clubs, Open Mic venues, radio stations? What exactly are those locations?

Update: Why would you guys referrence YMCA and make fun of an old 70s tune, when the guys I'm looking for need to be more into some key 80s, 90s and 2000s pop, as opposed to old school 70s.

That's another thing that's all too common. People wasting my time reccommending stuff as a joke as opposed to taking me seriously.

It doesn't have to "look" broken. When people say that someone sounds like a broken record, we are referring to a little scratch on one of the grooves which causes the needle to not move forward causing the aduio to repeat that section over and over, until you move the needle past that point. The same thing can happen with CDs.

I will bet you $10.00 the person you are looking for is at one the YMCA's in your area.

If you will man up and IF! you have enough balls. "GO CHECK IT OUT" or forever STFU!

I have enough balls to tell you that the guy I'm looking for probably isn't at the YMCA, because those places are for sports, and volunteering, not pop and soft rock music, the guy I'm looking for is not going to be into sports or volunteering, and is more likely not going to be an active community person in general. Also remember, this guy I'm looking for needs to not have a lot of stuff on his plate. This includes not only a girlfriend/boyfriend, or kids to take care of, but also church participation, any sort of volunteer work. Oh, and also sense I'm not a pet person, he also needs to not be a pet person. I'm looking for someone who only goes to college and takes a few simple classes, and/or has a part time job during the morning working at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or something, gets off sometime during the afternnon and has the rest of the day free.

I have given you guys hints at where these guys can be found. The first place is of course, music clubs at a local college or a music store in my area that has a program for young adults around my age.

Also before trying ANY random place in person, or any randomly suggested music site, I would like to be able to talk to some guys around my age who like pop and soft rock music, and who have similar music goals to mine, as opposed to the ones who are already out there and who are well-known performers in the BR area, and also avoid the ones who have just started taking lessons.
