Again, let's see a different group of people. I'm tired of seeing the same old people respond, especially if they are individuals who tried to help me before, but couldn't help, but instead of simply stating that they can't help, turned into the usual long drawn out spiel.

I just want to understand why people here act the way they do whenever I post a simple question? For example, why do a lot of hard rock dudes post in my topic when I'm trying to learn about some young pop and soft rock music lovers on here who play solo?

I CANNOT go away, because I don't have any other places to EFFECTIVELY continue this search by TALKING to other guys around my age! The only other place I've got is Facebook, and that isn't very effective for me, because I need to know someone before adding that person as a friend, and well, it doesn't have any good pop and soft rock music forums. I'm also a member of AdamOfficial, but there's a little too much going on there, and a lot of the fans there are pre-teen, teen and young adult girls, rather than guys, who come off as annoying.

All I'm asking is for some help in reaching more guys around my age who play pop and soft rock music, and who aren't your typical gigging musicians.

Why can't I reach a few individuals on here who are much nicer, and put a little more thought into what I'm looking for, and to help me resolve some of these issues I've been having with "people" in general.

I have covered these issues in numerous posts on here, and it's either ignored, or people answer my questions with "it's because your the asshole".

I also wouldn't have such a huge problem with people on this forum if there were more people on here who could help me and who didn't start so much crap to begin with, and if this place had a private messaging feature, I could also try to resolve certain issues in private without drawing so much attention.

I also wouldn't have to constantly spell things out for people. For example, when someone mentioned I should try a church, and I told that person that a lot of the music I enjoy would be inappropriate for a church environment.

And why do people make up things like that to justify their behavior? Why can't I ever come across a forum where the members listen to each other, and help each other out, and respect each other's music tastes?

Why am I constantly coming across people who are not very smart? For example, hard rock music lovers responding to a post about pop and soft rock music, when I need to get the response from someone who is into pop and soft rock music? Or learning how to word my ad to get the attention of talented keyboard players around my age who are simply looking for a friend, rather than someone who does gigs or is in the midst of pursuing a music career?

For the thousandth time, I am NOT trying to form a band. I'm looking for a SOLO keyboard player to learn some new skills with, but who isn't a career musician. And I am NOT trying to use THIS site to look for them. I only came to this forum to learn about other sites I can try, and to learn about other unofficially named soft rock and pop projects that I could add to my YouTube subscriptions. And by projects, I mean, SOLO players, not full blown groups, unless they are a group like NSync, or 98 Degrees.

Again, there you go again, making fun, instead of doing something to help me learn about something better to futher my search. Why is that? Why am I running into people who are more interesteed in making fun of my music tastes, and whatnot instead of helping me learn about some better places to continue my search, and putting more thought into the different things he reccommends? For example, asking questions pertaining to my music goals, and reccommending something based on a similar experience, as opposed to reaching someone who is a gigging musician, and who hates pop and soft rock and loves heavy metal, and hard rock?
