just cause you're male, doesn't make you a man.

like respect and maturity, these things you have to work for.
the washed out neutered white male, has been trained to seek out the crib of the 6 yo.
terrified of responsibility, marriage fatherhood, and owning up to his own short comings.

It's the woman's fault, it's my parents fault ,it's my bastered children's fault, it's the governments fault.

a country full of bitter pathetic queens.

lambert is an icon of his age.

glued to his ipod, disconnected, alone, unsure, without land or title.
destined to die, full of regret.
mourned only by his clutching enmeshed mother.

Well finally we have an uplifting positive view of his situation.

Why would a blind man who is not serious about music care what someone looks like?
Yeah yeah I know partially or legally blind... either way why would it matter?
Unless you have something other than music on your mind kid... :P

I am serious about music, just not career serious yet. I play music because it's what I enjoy, and I also like playing music to make others happy.

Also why do you guys keep calling me a kid? I'm 29 years old! OK, I get that I've done a few things on here that are not befitting an "adult", but all the more unique musicians are missunderstood in some way.

And what is up with the majority of people I run into everwhere (not just online) not knowing about the different levels of blindness, and how it works, and handling the situation poorly, as opposed to doing the smart thing and asking good questions and simply taking the time to get to know me? If I wasn't legally blind, I probably wouldn't be so passionate about music. I have a reasonable amount of sight, just not enough to drive. I also wear glasses with corrective lenses, which CANNOT correct my vision to 20/20 as well.

Also to all those who thought I posted this looking for sex, you are dead wrong. Oh, don't get me wrong, I am gay, and do like guys, though. I am simply looking for a companion. A buddy.

This post also has nothing to do with my music buddy search. This topic was to simply see if there were any guys on here around my age who are like the artists I linked you to in the first post or individuals like me who are passionate about pop and soft rock music, but who are solo artists in nature, and who show off some of their stuff on YouTube, and maybe even do video blogs, all on YouTube.

Why do I keep running into people who are afraid of my uniquness?

I think the first thing you have not taken notice of... Even the people I may have vehement disagreement with...

You are dealing with a very talented, intelligent, group of people.

Don't BS them... You will only wind up with hurt feelings, that, I doubt you have the personal experience to deal with.

All the people that participate in this forum, are not only great... But UNIQUE!

What the heck are you talking about? Talent is just only one part. The guy I'm looking for both in terms of what this topic is asking about and in terms of music buddies needs to have a likeable personality, and someone who is not like the rest. Someone who doesn't complain about my complaints. Someone who asks good quality questions to try to understand me better, and not gang up on me all at once, and make rude observations and such, like a lot of you guys do.

Where are the individuals who actually simply play music for enjoyment, and are respectful of each other and take the time to listen to each other, and help each other out as opposed to the ones I typically come across who ARE in fact talented, but come off as individuals who think they know everything and who think their music tastes are superior to mine, and who LOVE to brag about their experiences, and people are way too active in their music community, rather than someone like me who likes a wide variety and doesn't necessarily have a job playing music and DOESN'T play in a full fledged band? Why am I running into the typical ACTIVE band forming/career musicians?

I expected to run into SOME of that on the internet, but NOT at the level in which I've been encountering it trhoughout my search, whether it's on a board that I actively participate on, or on a board where I see OTHERS go at it, like on YouTube, and I where I remain relatively quiet.

Just because your talented doesn't mean anything if you don't have a likeable personality.

I am NOT BS anyone. Nearly all of you guys seem to think I'm the one full of BS, and you guys are WAY too quick to anger, and are also WAY too quick to judge, and don't want to bother listening to yourself before you respond.

When I type up ANY post here, or create an ad online or even in person, I think about how the audience of the given place will see it, and hopefully they will not make rude assumptions about me. Why do I keep running into the shallowest of individuals? Individuals who don't recongize that they are in fact being assholes first?

I guess you just don't see the fact that you are being provocative.
After that, the truth is revealed. You love having stuff shoved up your asss. I don't and I bet many would say the same thing.

What is it with people here being so easily aggravated over the simplest stuff things?

Why can't I come across individuals who have enough sense to tell me what's aggravating them, and how to state my case better without hurting that person's feelings?

And also how do I deal with people who WON'T listen, and who instead LOVE being assholes and making rude remarks?

Who is online
