Sounding good John. Obviously that song is out of the singer's range (well it's out of most singer's range) but he gave it hell.

It reminds me of when I auditioned as a vocalist for a band called Zooster many years ago. Back then I had a killer falsetto and so I did "Immigrant Song" for my first number. They were impressed but then asked if I could sing any Queen. I failed miserably, and ever since I've remembered my limitations as a singer.

I know the feeling Jimmy. Im ussually the one that does the high falsettos, but he went for it! Wish I had a video of Hair Of The Dog, of course we ussually get the soccer moms to scream the chorus with us!

We just threw that one in on the sly. I thought it came across pretty good, felt good.

Thanks for listening.

The video is great John ya'll did an awesome job! I think the only way to hit that high note is in false etta. Your singer was trying in full range. He is still a good singer. Man your guitar tone is BAD @SS! You really have that Trpple Rec. dialed in John!

Haley Im using the vintage mode on the amp, and Ive got the TS-9 punched in. Just a little drive, eq on the pedal at around 1 oclock, and the level at around 1 oclock. Ive got my guitar around 4 on the volume knob. I love the tone right there, thats my sound if I can call it mine, for leads I can just open up the guitar volume.

I was reading somewhere a few weeks ago about some guys who would just leave thier TS-9s kicked in all the time, it seems to give the tone a little sparkle or harmonics on top, that dont happen with out the pedal kicked in.

Thanks for the compliments, like you I have been playing a lot lately and really working on my base guitar tone.

No George the sleeves didnt get in the way.

My wife got me that shirt. It was actually very comfortable.

Our drummer kept refering to me as Prince all night, but Im used to them teasing me about what I wear, so all is good on this front.

Thanks for watching!

Us old dudes still know how to rock!

Hey John, the singer's friend stopped by rehearsal last night and shot some video of us rehearsing. It turned out pretty good, hopefully he'll post it to YouTube.

Cool Jimmy I would love to hear it just put a link up somewhere so I can find it. Hopefully he got Born To Run!

We messed around with that old song Hush at our last practice and Sympathy For The Devil, we didnt do either at our gig, but maybe the next show we will.

Both of those tunes are work outs for the bass player, especially "Hush".

Yeah "Born To Run" turned out pretty good, as well as "Synchronicity II", but "Too Rolling Stoned" rocks. He was slowly moving around and zooming in on me doing the lead. I'll let you know when he gets it up.
