How about... Those that are on this site- a Vast majority eat cocoa puffs. And are coo-coo because some one else can strum a guitar and thinks no one else can.

Two Bounty Hunters. Trying to prove they are wiser. Mostly, they chase posts not related to anything they know anything about. They prove only what they're missing... a brain that thinks.

Can't tell you how many polite messages / invitations I've sent out to folks who either don't answer the message, or do but with a nasty response.

Lack of response seems to be more the 'norm' these days everywhere, not just here. I had an email (contact from CL ad) last week, band was compatible with what I was looking for, but unfortunately, on the wrong side of Boston, making it impracticle for me to make regular practices. I replied, with a 'thanks, but...', and not even a 'thanks for replying' back from them.

Now here you have to remember that unless you see a profile has been updated in the last week (and even that is pushing it!), the person may not be checking here or the email address they used to register.
You also get a fair amount of people who post no music on their profile; people who seem to revel in putting down others; and people who just want to argue about everything under the sun!

As for nasty responses - the more information on who you are, what your abilities are and what you are looking for, that you put on your profile will help others decide if they want to try something with you. This includes ways to contact you outside BM as well as examples of your music.

Wanna Drum... The blatent disregard and flaming seems to be a global thing throughout most fourms. But as far as making contacts, when I signed up with a premium membership, I did so with the understanding that It would weed out the 'not really serious' about it crowds. Of course, it didnt change my luck at all...So now I stopped paying the service.

But I can tell you this...within the huge pile of sh*t on the BM forums, there is indeed a real pony...and i wouldn't have it any other way...

These guys are way cool, they know what they are talking about and you'll definitely benefit... Just grow a thicker skin and you'll see its really all good... ;)
