I may have to change your name to Jupiter because of density issues.

Are you milking me for 10$ or am I fully escaping the life of involuntary servitude? lol

I don't want to pay, either allow me to pay off or grant me amnesty..pick one.

no worries jcp61...i know there are always gonna be those sad sacks w a chip on their shoulder ready to jeer from the sidelines who don't want see others succeed w a project.

no skin off my big nose. i thought it might be a fun idea to try to create something in a community sorta way. no finished product to show for it, but the little collaborating that did go on was fun. kaye sara. kaye sara.

ok, we have a winner!

that might actually be THE most brain dead thing i've seen posted on this forum.

i don't know which impresses most ...the arrogance or the ignorance of that statement.

I accept your correction on that and concede your point. Some of the most faithful friends and giving people I know have no declared religion at all.

It's wrong of me to sling a stereo-type about something as personal as one's spiritual condition.

I, like some others in this conversation, used an extreme example and tried to portray it as normal. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler, etc....are all extreme examples.

None of them were christians because their actions contradict the Book christians use as a standard.

They were mostly atheists, and worshipped only themselves. Hitler was an occultist who performed and participated in dark spiritual rituals, but no one is sure if he had any god but himself.

They were all mass murderers to the very end, which was no contradiction to their human philosophy.

Humanism (helping other humans) at it's best is a beautiful thing, and many christian organizations make up the backbone of world-wide humanitarian aid. But at it's worst, humanism (where God is intentionally rejected) is the biggest threat on the planet to humans.

failure is failure,
no matter how many clever things you say about it afterwards

JCP you ever going to let up?

You never DNF'd before?

I'd say that aspect is a right of passage in human life as we know it.

If you never fail, maybe you never were set to a task difficult enough for you. This seems to me a prerequisite to growth of any variety in any field.

That's how you build muscle as well. Muscle pushed to the level of failure.

We'd all be a soggy bunch if every single one of us succeeded in everything we ever attempted.

sure I fail all the time, I just don't feel the need to ease the pain by looking for others to blame.
