Yeah that's a good one Mike, and the double album titled "Todd" is fantastic too. I believe he played all instruments on "The Hermit of Mink Hollow" as well. Todd is one of those genius people.

For me I have to go back to the first double album I bought.

KISS ALIVE

That Santana album "Moonflower" was another great double album. Also Hot Tuna's "Double Dose".

I don't recall that being a double-album

I'm going to step away from live and greatest hits albums because I don't think it's fair to compare them to original double-album works.

All time I guess my personal favorite would be The Wall.. It was by far the most interesting and impactful dbl album of that time when I began musically developing and playing.

I would take "Ummagumma" over "The Wall" anyday but that's just me. Roger Waters is just a pretentious bore and "The Wall" has his finger prints all over it.

I like both "The Wall" AND "Ummagumma".
But, they are for different moods.
I think Waters got out while the gettin' was good.
Pink Floyd went right into the toilet after he left.

Roger Waters, John Waters is the director. The only reason he left was he couldn't get along with Gilmour. But yeah, their music had been slowly declining as an artistic statement since DSOTM.
