I rarely miss unless someone has booger-ed my sights.

The good ol dayz are now. Live, the past is past, the future may never exist. All we have is the here and now.

I don't miss anything anymore, except maybe...my ability to miss things.

Nothing on this planet matters... I mean...Life here is so transient...

I am missing a few socks (And yes, I did check the back of my shirt)

gtZip, you missed a lot of great years, the late 60's, so many great things happened in music back then.

We missed a lot of stuff.

You had "Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll".
We had "AIDS, Crack, and Rap."

Life is unfair.

I don't remember anything about sex and drugs. Psychadelic rock posters, Earth Day, amazing music, sneaking into the Babson Institute game room, spin the bottle at parties, watching hippies smoke weed in front of the Needham court house, bellbottoms, afros, but no sex and drugs for me, just a little too young...

I miss when life was simple- no cellphones, pagers, internet, GPS tracking, and marketing departments tracking your every move.

I miss when radio had DJ's who interacted with the listeners and were the genuine filtering process of new music.

I miss when you got in a fight, or did something generally stupid, you just got taken home and disciplined by your parents instead of arrested and tarnished for life.

I miss the days when smoking a joint was no big deal and you didn't have to worry about doing a year in jail for it.

I miss when you bought something, it was final- you expected it to last for years and years, and it did.

I miss when bottling companies had to charge deposits and collect the empties.

I miss when progressive music like Yes and ELP was mainstream, and also miss deeper music like the doors.

I miss when insurance companies didn't run your life.

I miss smoking!!

Go into a local gun shop.
Or a hardware store where real men are.

As I was shopping last week I was amazed.

Yes sir, No sir, Good morning, need a hand, not just employees mind you.

Total strangers of differing races & creeds, helping each other load lumber ETC.

Smiles, handshakes . . . have a blessed day sir . . . you too thank you . . .

Manners are not dead, though they are hemorrhaging from all this liberal self worship.
Ask these people what a "Snookie" is . . . they won't know or care.
They live in the real world.
