My Band is in a rut i recently just lost 3 guys do to creative differences so now I'm back at square one Recruiting members to the band. With an EP looming in the near horizon I'm in a rush to get my line up back together. I'm looking for determined dedicated musicians who's sole dream is to break into the music industry, I'm currently only looking for musicians in the age range of 17-25 years of age with skills in the intermediate to advance categories. I need a Drummer, a bass player, a Vocalist, and rhythm guitar player. all fluent in the Heavy metal/Metal-core genre, also recording equip is necessary to have at hand, We have songs in the process already. So all you have to do is jump in and put everything together. If anyone is interested and lives in the Mesa Arizona Area please contact me here Guitarlord990@yahoo.com Thank You for your time
P.S Everyone has equal share in the band there is no overpowering

Why are people who "need musicians" so intent on placing artificial limitations on them ?

I just don't understand this mentality at all.

17 - 25 ?

Must wear one red and one blue tennis shoe and not eat broccoli . . .

If a player has commitment and meets the chemistry, what difference does it make ?

The age range is 17-25 because of the fact that I'm still in high school and I'm looking for people close to my age being 17, as well as being able to connect with them on a musical level and later a friendship level

Blade, unfortunately its a bunch of cynical old farts here... You wont have any luck with your particular request here... But ...if you ever want to know about 'music', you are smack in the middle of wise sage brush... :)

Good luck with your search (PS. check out the open mics in your town... If there aren't any, start one up.

The age ranges in this cynical old farts band runs from 60 to 11 . . .
We are family in every sense of the word but blood relation.
You can write it off to cynicism if it makes you happy.
Or you can benefit from the wisdom of experience.
Makes me no never mind either way.

Well, that leaves me out also but I see nothing wrong with young kids seeking musicians around their own age especially in this genre. The audience will be young kids and these kids don't want to look up and see their grandfather or with some of you their great grandfather up on stage. Besides these young kids don't want to hear their band mate whine about prostate problems instead of snagging chicks after the show.

Sounds like some fatherly or grandfatherly advice might keep em from snagging AIDS . . .

But then with all these artificial restrictions, hell they may never play a note in public anyways.

Sure you have a right ( nothing wrong ) with building a band of quadriplegics off the swim team if that's what you want.
Just makes it a lot more difficult.
And it's hard enough as it is IMO.
