I don't think he's a communist... I do think he is a socialist. Look at this objectively. He represent poor neighborhoods in Chicago. Most low income people are constantly seeking economic relief, via giveaway and charity programs. He excelled at leading such campaigns... He never insisted that people get off their asses and obtain the American dream... Instead, he won points by simply garnering donations and giving them everything he could, to ease their immediate concerns... He gave them the fish, but never taught them to fish... and that pretty much defines socialistic leadership style... and community.

I'm not understanding this...I'm not aware of tax rates going up, other than the income tax break expiring. I don't believe that will have any effect on 2012 taxes. I'll probably have my CPA do mine in a week or so and will let you know.

I was made aware of a couple deductions being lowered for 2013, plus the healthcare penalty.
So essentially they can raise revenue without technically "raising taxes".
