Good point!

And that "protest" against England is the very reason for the 2nd Amendment. The Brits didn't have gun control over the Colonies.

or pepper spray! Did you watch that? Even young women go to prison for PEPPER SPRAY. This is the logical end of a liberal government unopposed.

The suicide rate for American soldiers has never been higher. I'm not sure many of them can be trusted with one bullet.

There will always be those in a group that are less than perfect. The American
soldier is strong, focused and brave. Never doubt that.[/b]

I believe the military does a great job preparing soldiers for combat physically, I'm just concerned about their mental preparation. Did you know that the suicide rate was about one per day? Or that suicide rates eclipsed battle fatalities? Or that the average soldier can plan on 2, 3 or even 4 tours of duty? This is more than even battle hardened soldiers can endure. If we really stand behind our troops we should demand change.

Until upper management knows what it's like, you will be waiting awhile for change...

I think mental health care is sucky in the 'ol USA, and it shouldn't be.
Maybe mental health "knowledge" in general is lacking.

JimmyD

In WWII some studies showed that after 270 days of combat it adios muchachos. Even the best soldiers can only handle so much.

A very tough fellow with years of military experience in spec ops told me once his nerve was gone. Said it got worse each time he went out. As you may imagine, that made me fell kind of nervous to hear that from the likes of him.

http://www.peoplesworld.org/fight-to-en ... democracy/

Back to gun control issues, you'll find that this website gives a verbatim support of everything Obama proposes, including gun control. They use the exact same language as the Dept of Propoganda (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, etc). You will find that they are literally lock-step with Obama on every single issue he has ever had.

And you will also find that they represent the Communist Party USA.

It's laughable that they entitle this article about "defending democracy". Are people really so uneducated that they can't see through this agenda? Are they living in denial that they will escape the consequences? OR are they knowingly supporting marxist ideology wilfully?

Somewhere Kruschev is laughing loudly. The strategy has historically been to confuse the language so people who aren't paying very close attention to their actions won't notice until it's too late.

The "progressives" even repeat the exact same rhetorical goals as Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Hitler, Mussolini, and Pol Pot except they have the audacity to claim that 99% of us are onboard with their communist ideology. It's probably closer to 4% and then another 48% who are being duped by the clever misuse of language.

Here's the mission statement of the Communist Party USA. You'll find that this is an exact mirror image of the platform of the Democrat National Committee now.

About the People's World
Peoplesworld.org is a daily news website of, for and by the 99% and the direct descendant of the Daily Worker. Published by Long View Publishing Co., People's World reports on the movements for jobs, peace, equality, democracy, civil rights and liberties, labor, immigrant, LGBT and women's rights, protection of the environment, and more. Mundopopular.org provides the same coverage in Spanish.

People's World and Mundo Popular are known for partisan coverage. We take sides. Yours.  The editorial mission is partisan to the working class, people of color, women, young people, seniors, LGBT community, to international solidarity; to popularize the ideas of Marxism and Bill of Rights socialism. The websites enjoy a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views. People's World and Mundo Popular are part of the People Before Profit Network. Content on the website is licensed under Creative Commons .

Since the first issue of the Daily Worker came off the press in 1924, this press has been in the battles of the U.S. working class and people's movements. From the battles of the unemployed and the campaigns to organize the CIO in the 1930s-40s, through the civil rights and peace movements of the 1950s, '60s and '70s to the struggles that have given us the "new" labor movement, to the people's upsurge that elected our first African American president, and now the growing movements for a progressive, people's agenda - the 99% - People's World and Mundo Popular have been there.

People's World is part of the American independent and free press tradition, and now the growing netroots movement, in the U.S.  Funded exclusively by readers - no corporate money, People's World employs a small staff, but has a mighty network of volunteers, and together proudly produce what many call "the best working-class coverage in the country."

Memberships: People's World is a member of the International Labor Communications Association and is indexed in the Alternative Press Index. Staff members belong to The Newspaper Guild/CWA, AFL-CIO.

MikeN, Mark, and last but not least JimmyD your arguments are as redicolous as this host. I am seeing a pattern here "you supposed SMART guys" are SERIOUSLY LACKING in the common sense area?

EVEN A BETTER ONE HALEY!!!
