a couple years ago i began writing songs ,i beleive they are realy good ,but since i have no access to a recording studio ,or connections to anyone in the music industry ,i dont know where to begin to get the songs herd ,i would like to put my best foot forward ,can i get some feed back from anyone that may be further on there way ,im not trying to be famous ,im not looking for glory ,but i would like to share them and hear them as a completed project but i dont even know other musicans to play the instruments that would best suit the songs ,please help

If you just want to hear what your songs sound like, call yourself and sing into the voice message machine.

If you want more than that, there are no shortcuts to greatness...but all it requires is working harder than everyone else.

Study other songs and writers, invest a lot of time into practising your instrument and/or craft, figure out how to get your songs into recorded demo form, and hang out with musicians who are more talented than you are to keep growing. If you continue growing as a songwriter (or musician) the answers to your questions will come at a natural pace when you're ready for the next level.

I use a template that puts everything in the correct case, font and so on.

Example

TITLE
author, date, copyright date
Sometimes, a blurb about the song

and then on to it.

VERSE (large like top in an outline)
smaller font, video specific text in purple
music: chords, notes or whatever, same as above in blue
Lyrics
A slightly larger bold font - got to see 'em to sing 'em.

Do the same with Chorus, Bridge, Cadence etc

That sort of work is worth the effort. When you've written dozens or even hundreds of songs, you need a format you can remember.

As to recording - I'm on the low end of that curve and just bought new software, new books and trying a new approach. Boring, but one has to do it.
