OWS was a political operation run by the same people who brought you ACORN, and funded by several tax-free foundations owned by George Soros. The whole thing began and was directed by the New York operation, which happened to be in a park owned by a Soros foundation. After it had been established, there were idiots and dumbasses in cities who were inspired to do likewise yet all of them had cover from the Democrat Party through local and national officials, for the purpose of establishing a narrative to produce envy in stupid people. It worked if you think that "The 1%" is your enemy.

They were premeditated charades that conveniently took the focus off of the people in charge of running the country and put it on the people who make the economy work...business.

And, of course, this was just another tentacle of the progressive octopus for producing and perpetuating class and race warfare.

OWS was designed by DNC operatives to misdirect our attention, deflect blame, and create the appearance of a liberal version of the Tea Party (a legitimate uprising of the public) in hopes of changing the public narrative.

However, had they thought it was necessary, OWS would have had another purpose because they had now established the precedent of roaming mobs creating political instability in major cities.

So regarding Acorn.. they were a GOOD IDEA, but unfortunately they were helping black people register to vote (oh noes! It's an online encyclopedia, but instead of being written by scholars and historians, it's written by the general public, and peer-reviewed, which is considered the best system possible of weeding out misrepresentations, bias, opinions, and whittling information down to just the facts. References are provided, and can be contested.

Nothing is perfect, but something can be generally reliable, and wiki is typically more reliable than most private and corporate owned information sites.

If you doubt any of the information wiki has on ACORN, feel free to list your specific objections here, in detail, along with verifiable sources of proof, and I would be glad to review it.
