After we finished our CD recording session Saturday we recorded this one for fun.

This is my mix off Audacity.

"FIRE" on my BM player.

Like to have some input suggestions on my mix to help me along in the learning process.

Use a pop filter on the vocals, back off a little on the snare drum, compress the hell out of the vocal track and keep it up front.

But

Man Oh man

Do I love this song!

It would be nice to have a harmony vocal on the intro 2cd time around to help with the build of the song? Great song George!

Funny you could replace the word God with Girl and you've got a 90's pop tune! 8)

I could hear a second voice I want more of you god accompanying the "Just a little while longer and I'll see you" etc...
You could literally have 3 voices working together singing different parts toward the end.

I like it God or Girl.

Thanks for the input.

I have one of those "sock" type pop filters on the mic, apparently it really does not work all that well.

Like to take credit for this one but it is a cover of a song that was found in the net.

We have been unable to find any copy rights / composer information in order to give appropriate credit where its due.

When we do this one live, I actually do a little BUV myself . . .

I'd much rather keep to bending the strings and let someone else sing.

Actually, George, if you are filtering the mic at all, prolly just need to apply some compression on the track (Post input) to drop the pop

This song (FIRE) is a very thoughtful song, Good job building up the intensity of affirmation. The song and its delivery convinces me where the heart of the performer /and authorship is.. Excellent!
