Hello all.
I'm an experienced sound engineer a bit frustrated that there isn't any box for us on bandmix!
i am sure there are many bands who have reached that stage where a front of house engineer is needed.
i am a musician, ex pro for 20 years so i do know how important a good engineer is - maybe not for the pub gig - but when you get to larger venues....
So come on Bandmix....give us a box and a chance to advertise ourselves!!

Dale, welcome to bandmix! Yes I agree because there are a lot of folks that have questions regarding sound reinforcement. There is a gear and tech section here. I have a medium sized p.a. that our band uses from time to time. We do have a soundman that has a nice large venue p.a. that we consider part of the band and treat him as such. His back has been keeping him down as of late so we are back to using my 7000 watt system single 15 tops and single 18 subs that I use a dbx driverack to manage. My wife mixes (has a good ear) through an A & H mixwiz it is not the best system but better than 90% of the bands in the H-town area.
