I'm part of a Facebook group called That Would Be A Great Name For A Band. I suggested Breaking Bad Company and Split Peace Soup today.

But, it is very important.
I don't want anything pluralized, with a "THE" in front of it, like THE RAMONES, THE VENTURES, or THE SPECIALS.
I'd like to name us something easy to remember, just three or four syllables, like NIRVANA or METALLICA.
But, I want something odd and unusual, like PRINCESS DRAGON-MOM, STEEL POLE BATH TUB or BUTTHOLE SURFERS.
I'd wanted to name us something like GHIDORAH or CHIMERA.
But, those, it turned out, were already taken.
Got any good ideas?

I had briefly thought of using Island of Misfit Toys, until I discovered that someone had already taken that name. 
But, it kept sticking in my mind and I wondered, "how about Mike Nobody & The Island of Misfit Toys?"
It almost sounds like a movie title.
Kinda like Sun Ra And His Arkestra, Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, Iggy & The Stooges, Wayne/Jayne County & The Electric Chairs, Frank Black & The Catholics, Jello Biafra & The Guantanamo School of Medicine, Eddie & The Hotrods, Huey Lewis & The News, Prince and The Revolution (or The New Power Generation), etc.
I'm not really crazy about it, having my name out in front there.
But, it might be a useful loophole if a name is already taken.
