A couple of range wars, some more of the same ol' tired Obama bashing, gun toters crying about their guns and freedoms being taken, blah, blah, blah, and next to nothing in the way of music discussion. sigh.

i hear ya peg. i've been laying low myself for much the same reasons.

it does seem like it goes in cycles though. there'll be precious little music discussion for awhile and instead mostly as you said ....

Well, without all the facts present or when in doubt I'm inclined to give most the benefit of the doubt. No slight taken at GTZip's comment as i don't think any was intended.

I don't know about the tongue piercing in the photo. You'd have to ask the gal in the photo! That's a stock photo I found. But it sure looks that way. I wonder if she has different colored ...what..."tongue earings" for different colored outfits or different makeup!

Me, I'm not much into the piercing and ink thing.

I didn't realize that post by sanshouheil was directed at me.
At one time or the other in the short time I've been at Bandmix I've probably looked at the profile page to check out posted music of every member who regularly posts here.

Only so many hours in the day Neanderpaul....sorry, I haven't gotten around to checking out your new tunes yet. But I will try to do so soon.

I am trying to limit what I say in an effort not to bash people's creations because everyone puts hard work and effort into what they work on.

Only the very worst get THE SLAM. Otherwise I am silent (now) or I say what I think if it's something I think they'd want to hear.

So don't complain if you didn't get a comment on something, you probably wouldn't have wanted to hear that comment anyway. (trill)

"represent myself"???? Well, I suppose I could have just as easily found a pic of some guy pulling his hair out in frustration but a woman doing it seemed to make more sense. And there is that litle stamp thingie in that photo that denotes it's a "stock photo" or maybe it means it's copyrighted?

Yes. Very well said indeed. Sometimes when you have nothing nice to say....it IS best to say nothing at all. And because someone hasn't immediately responded to any music posted....no conclusion or assumptions should be made as to why that is.
