Go to music section of the forum and then to any music page you want. Listening, teaching , music discussion, whatever. It's there. A lot of pages dealing with everything but mindless chatter. Chatter is where all this stuff is found. This is where it is supposed to be. Bet that's why they call this section General Chat. :) Or maybe they just thought that the "slash & dice" discussion board was too graphic.

They probably don't like all this chit chat in the music portion of Bandmix, so they gave us this page to keep out of their hair so to speak. You know, a cheap bribe.

But no one is ever at the music pages. Therefore I would presume that if this general chat section became the music forum no one would be here either. Just figures. :)

A couple of range wars, some more of the same ol' tired Obama bashing, gun toters crying about their guns and freedoms being taken, blah, blah, blah, and next to nothing in the way of music discussion. sigh.

Show me da music, guys!

Someone.

Anyone!

Cool. Thanks for the link.

Funny . . . moan about no music on a music site and the people whom post links in response get ignored.

P.S. Thank you too Paul. Always enjoy your work as well.

Other than Drums and vocals, all was collab with other local musicians.
All production and mixing was me.

Great Piece of Work RG!

Note: I didn't like the pitch shifting on what I thought was a gloriously fluid vocal phrasing.

Other than that twas indeed great! :)

Slacker G...yes, I'm aware that there IS a "music section" but as you pointed out, rarely is there any activity there. Seems like "general" is the catch-all where everyone hangs out.

RG...I like your tune. A LOT. Nice production and the drums (playing and recording are wonderful). I have to agree with Paper Dog, points off for the pitch shifting effects on the vocals.

The general section is where "all dogs do their business". lol

And autotune/pitch shifting etc is a popular thing right now, he used it in a classy way.
"Not over the top and not hiding it", so he's experimenting with it and he did a good job without it being oppressive.

Kudos to Rich Gose and his crew.

You can tell he's good at what he's doing and he's taking his time, not losing his mind.

All facets of this equation are equally important.
