A couple of range wars, some more of the same ol' tired Obama bashing, gun toters crying about their guns and freedoms being taken, blah, blah, blah, and next to nothing in the way of music discussion. sigh.
Show me da music, guys!
Someone.
Anyone!

The songwriting is coming along slowly.
But, at least it is still coming along.
I needed to organize some method of doing things to get comfortable with composing music by myself.
It is working out pretty good.
Meanwhile, Marsha & I are working out a few adjustments to our live set-up.
It is mostly gonna be the two of us, with a backing track.
Me on bass / baritone guitar / vocals / Dictaphone
Marsha on guitar / sampler / keyboards.
We will add a drummer or other persons as we go along.
Maybe permanently.
Maybe temporarily.
We will see how that works out when the time comes.
Because of health issues, we can't be jumping through the air doing the splits like David Lee Roth.
So, we will probably perform seated in office swivel chairs.
Not a very exciting way to watch a band play, I admit.
That's where the video projectors come in.
I've seen some cheap video projectors available on Craigslist lately that I may snatch up when we get paid.
If we at least have something onstage to look at while we play, maybe we won't suck so bad.
We will do our normal set of written songs.
About 2/3rds into the set we will do our Merzbow-esque improvised noise freak-out till the end.
I will be seated behind a table of some sort, maybe a DJ Mixer Table if we can find one affordably.
Marsha will be seated behind her keyboard.
I've tried to think of how to transport our gear around.
It won’t ALL fit in our car.
The only thing I can think of doing is just to rent a van when we need to play somewhere.
It makes more economic sense to rent for just a day or more than buy one outright, being responsible for insurance & maintenance when we aren't using it.
Since we aren't transporting anything to rehearsals anywhere, it might work out.
Marsha's stepson is excited about helping us.
So, we may already even have a roadie.
