My crazed neighbor has been driving me crazy blowing leaves all over the place. The sound of that damn thing hits my bad ear just where it hurts.

As soon as I finish this drink I'm fixing to show him what loud is really about.

I wonder if he'll get the message? if he has a heart attack I'll move to Scandinavia and have huge cred for playing 'Death Metal!'

That reminds me.
I heard of a noise band once that used one of those big loudspeakers that hits the right low frequencies at the right decible level which induce vomiting and diarrhea.
That must have been a helluva show to watch.

My first "concert" was a had been country group at a fair - as they were sound checking the bass was so loud and deep that it made me nauseas and gave my what felt like heart flutters.
I couldn't handle it so we left.
Only time I've ever felt that.

...Talbot I can sympathize with you. I had a friend ... Bill Castledine who was the Director of the Ontario Science Centre in the early 1970's. He was doing experiments with the Canadian/British Government with sound. They were blowing holes in natural granite in Mountains, creating air turbulence strong enough to bring down any planes, pushing frequencies that often were barely audible but would most definately make you mess your trousers, pee or puke. They could also induce fits and seizures.
