you actually have some good points.
I've been an avid gamer all my life, I agree and repeat-
Asteroids, pac man, etc.. so separated from reality that there's no question of violence, even games like space invaders, donkey kong, etc.. just no perception of reality.
When it comes to fantasy and rpg's.. even the most popular games like WoW and Diablo 3 are completely separated from reality and pose no threat to a teen's brain IMO.
But games like GTA, call of duty, etc.. that mimic real life? Yeah, especially GTA.. send the wrong message- they make killing innocent people "cool", or in the case of games like call of duty, killing the "enemy" is cool.. so what happens when a teen feels like he's the victim of society? Now that society IS the enemy to him.
I was once a hardcore defender of video games, but when GTA came out many years ago .. I started to think twice.. I don't like those types of games personally, but I also worry a lot about the messages they give to young adults.. which always boils down to "killing is cool"
Once again your intolerance is showing KING KRAMER.
Your line about every one not being able to discern reality unless someone like you decides,,,,
Instead of beating the drum for more government control over such bullshiit stuf like 32 OZ sodas,,,, Why don't you wake up and start helping people realize they need to have TREMENDOUS PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY,,, if they want to remain free under the rule of government established BY THE PEOPLE.
For all your bluster,,, you don't get that one major point. That's ok, most people don't. That's why we have people like you. To tell us what to do.
Don't argue with a stupid person. They will pull you down to their level... And beat you with experience..."Samuel Langhorne Clemens"
