I always thought most homeless people were war vets or mentally distracted from living a healthy, normal life. Strictly From my own point of view I don't understand how a person can be homeless in America...

I saw real poverty when I was in Bombay (Mumbai), Manila, Djibouti, Karachi, and other places...

When I was in Olongopo, I had an extraordinary conversation with a filipino woman,who lived in dilapidated shack, with raw sewage running across her door step. Her intellect was astounding...If I didnt know better I would have thought she was highly educated...and yet she was poverty stricken, squatting to maintain an impoverished homestead... In her case, she was the victim of Marcos Govt suppression.

I have said this same stuff way to many times. These figures are very low, don't matter. Liberals and dictators helll bent on CONTROL,,, don't give a damn how they wreck your life.

You actually posted numbers that are way too low. Death by govt in the twentieth Century was way over 100million.

Hitler - 20 million
Stalin - 40 million (counting non russians he butchered)
Mao - 60 million

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject. Subjects usually ended up being victims.
