That goes without saying...Those 45 are likely just as ignorant as the guy they thumbs upped. Its terribly unfortunate that guys like that exist..They are to Christian faith, what extremist muslums are to Islamic faith.

The difference between "bible thumpers" and "real Christians" can be pretty thin at times.
A fundamental problem they share is taking things too literally (ie; the bible).
This leads to all sorts of problems.
One basic reason for this is that, as written, the bible is highly inconsistent and ludicrous (as you'd expect a work of fiction written, edited, and translated by numerous authors over thousands of years).
Add in everyone's different interpretations of the book's TRUE meaning just makes things worse.
So, to have some sanity, Christians are forced to pick-and-choose passages that suit them.
This often leads to my favorite quote from "9 To 5", and it should be the Republican Party's official motto.
They become Sexist, Egotistical, Lying Hypocritical Bigots.
Of course, this doesn't apply universally to ALL Christians.
But, the underlying shared delusions create this problem.
So, even if someone is a NICE person, they still believe in something insane which creates insane people.
