so among the few opinions thrown around here, regarding the Sandy Hook mass murder, we can boil it down to people that were noticed as being mentally unstable, or socially crippled, but not given the correct help by placing him in the mental asylum with padded walls, or perhaps Mr. Adam Lanza was not spanked or disciplined appropriately because of his wealthy parents not being around to monitor him, but rather the parents out making a fortune as a tax executive for General Electric, and teaching school.. or something else?.. the guy that shot up the movie theatre in Aurora, Colo. was from a wealthy educated family too, way above average as far as median incomes for the U.S.

Well This just proves that Wealthy people do it bigger and better...as opposed to homeless dudes, who might do it bigger or better if only they had the money.

Oh and, by the way, if you'd care to look outside the US for a moment, 22 kids were stabbed at an elementary school in china today. Stabbed. Not Shot. Gun laws are f**k useless.

I love it when a gun nut tries to cite this useless tidbit. Of course they work, no one was shot were they.

Of course guns don't kill people, they just make it far easier.

I am not a liberal, but a left leaning centrist, and I think a lot of the problems with these mass shootings lately, has nothing to do with gun control, but has everything to do with removing certain lessons in the Bible from use in society in general.. I am thinking, "Spare The Rod Spoil The Child" ...it is somewhat of an understatement.. spare the rod and you raise literal monsters capable of not knowing the value of human life and never "corrected" with the rod they value nothing as sacred and feel they can do as they wish cause they don't have the normal fear of God in them that keeps them from knowing right from wrong..

No shiiit, doesn't this all come down to personal responsibility. By the way Dane,,, Fear of God doesn't fly with me,,,, God created me as a FREE man, not a man that should be afraid,,,, I still have to have responsibility to my fellow man. Just a point. Sorry I'm not one to absorb any guilt that major religions use as a tool to keep the tithe coming in.

It worked. Hoooray! No yellow bellied cops were hurt. oh yeah, a bunch a kids got killed but none of their 'protectors' were harmed so all is good.

Do you really expect us to count on bitches like that to protect our kids?

Think this through a bit. More kids have been killed in Chicago this month than in that tragic school horror. Like the schoolkids- they probably thought the 'trained professionals' would protect them. Must be nice to live in a dream world but reality is, if you want defense, you better provide it yourself.

That is the point I was trying to make earlier in this thread. In a situation like that the cops are NOT going storming in when they haven't analyzed the threat. They are going to stand down until they know how many shooters are involved and proximity all while folks are getting shot and killed. The cops want to go home at the end of the day!

A couple people in a mall didn't get enough reaction, so today it's mass killing at a grade school...

Just to be really sick,,, any possibility these are government controlled and government sanctioned.
