I was invited to perform a few songs for the company Christmas party.
My prerecorded ProTools tracks on my ipod were supposed to back me up, but ipod failed. I thought, ''The show must go on", as I dusted off my P.A. amp and speakers, plugged in, but not so much as a hiss sound. So I simply brought up my guitar and micro amp, and did the 1950s song "RamaLamaDingDong" but my vocal through their house PA was not loud enough.
To me, my performance was a trainwreck. To the audience who did not know all that this performance could have been, if not for the problems I encountered, well, they probably thought I was just another ho-hum singer-guitarist, who just busted out, and escaped from his bedroom.
Anybody else want to confess their experiences with technical difficulties?[/b][/i]
