Class warfare!! How dare you use facts to make those corporations look bad! Those executives need those extra billions of profit to buy that 2nd gold-plated fountain in their 12-acre garden! You are an ungrateful servant. Why can't you be happy with minimum wage?

I believe it would trickle down if corporations didn't exist.
They are, in essence, accountable to No thing and their only god is satisfying the boards ledger.

This is why A job for a Corporation should always be treated like a 2nd priority to the other stuff we are doing in our lives...just saying...Take it out on 'time'.

Jimmy,,, Jimmy, Jimmy,,,, Here you are an educated person and you believe this. If you took the time to go over all the earnings reports from so many major companies and there forward out look, you would see that the author is just spewing nonsense.

I don't want to get into this because all you want to do is gloat.

YOU have set the stage,,, The economic tumult that is about to begin will even shock YOU!

Better blame Bush....

There has always been a tug of war between business owners and workers. It goes back to the very formation of companies. This will always happen. There will always be a roller coaster of ups and downs between the two. Nothing new here to report.

Glenn, what exactly do you think is going to happen? Corporations just give us our money back? Are they going to suddenly wake up one day and apologize and pay us a living wage? Nope. They have only one goal: profits.

Capitalism has been deregulated, politicians bought, watchdogs prosecuted, and the only thing in our future is the continued acceleration of the common man being bled dry.

What happens when there is nothing left? Well, history will repeat itself. It's called 'indentured servitude', something that was once practiced right here in the US of F'ckin A. yep. Read up about the real history of this country they filtered out of public education, it's pretty telling about what happens. In short, you have two classes, and two sets of laws that govern each. I dare you to guess which class has it better.

Biggest lie ever perpetuated onto the american people: "Money can't buy happiness"... notice only the rich and stupid brainwashed servants repeat it...

You are absolutely right about many things Kramer. Like putting these big evil corps out of business,,, Like Hostess,,, 18000 people don't have jobs because of that corp. Don't worry you and us can support them through government,, and taxes.
Just ask the coal miners that are being shut down by the government watchdog, the EPA. Don't worry the government can support them, meaning you and us. Just ask about the banks that were enabled to steal, then failed, then bailed out by a corrupt government that set them up to begin with and then bailed them out to preserve them for a much greater plan to destroy American values.

All I'm pointing out is the lies and finger pointing and this is just the beginning of all the stuff that is coming down from the top down.
This is the real trickle down that every one should fear.

Come on Kramer I know you are smart,,, Please start thinking outside the tainted media we are all subjected too. Your life may depend on it.

oh come on...

Hostess went down because corporations like MITTS bought up the stock, pillaged it (the art of driving up production while slashing costs, ultimately destroying the company), and then when the employees finally stood up, the very few people who made the most $$ off the company decided to burn the farm and float away on the golden parachute.

COAL>? Really? Coal is like cigarettes, really. Just like cigarettes. Burning coal spews particle mercury into the air, where it travels anywhere from 3 feet to 3000 miles and settles.. on the dirt, in the lakes and rivers, seeps into the underground water tables.

Did you know that almost all US freshwater fish have mercury in them now? Did you know that several state health departments now put labels on them warning that eating fish TOO OFTEN can result in toxic shock?

So like cigarettes, COAL is causing a cancer, the more we burn, the more we increase the risk. We're addicted to it.. it's easy, cheap, and we got plenty of it. We know that it's killing us, but we just can't stop.

Sure, embracing clean energy will cost us more, but we all know new technology becomes cheap after it's been around a few years and competition heats up.

There's arguments that environmental mercury can be linked to autism, CP, parkinsons, downs syndrome, mental retardation, birth defects, etc...

Coal sucks. Time to quit smoking bro.
